A&T Ranked No. 1 in NCATA Preseason Poll
WACO, Texas - The Baylor acrobatics and tumbling team, winners of five-consecutive National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) National Championships, have been voted No. 1 in the association's preseason top 10 for the sixth-straight season, following a vote of the 26 head coaches around the country.
The Bears received 24 of the 26 first-place votes and topped the voting with 388 total points. Baylor, finished the shortened 2020 season with a perfect 6-0 record. Under now seventh-year head coach Felecia Mulkey, BU currently has a 37-meet win streak heading into the 2021 season.
On the 2021 roster, Baylor has 38 returners and 10 newcomers as they look to win a sixth national championship. The Bears open up the 2021 campaign next Friday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. CT in the Ferrell Center as they host the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
