So scripture isn't enough to determine why Christians have a problem with 47? We have to go by feelings when dealing with heretics?
How does one determine a heretic? You are not the judge. Then Who is? You slandering me.
I would suppose by comparing what a teacher of the Word says and compare it with actual scripture says.
It is true nobody besides God is the judge. We all fall short in many ways. We can't dispute this either. However God said
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. Psalm 33:6 John1:3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
So God said it and it was. I believe this. This is certainly supernatural.
I know you have said God is not into the supernatural. Or doesn't operate in the supernatural. I disagree there.
You have also said our sexuality is a gift from God and that homosexual acts fall under this. The Bible is clear, that it is an
unnatural use of the body.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. This isn't talking about rape or abuse, but for a man to want to lay with another man is lust. Acting on that lust is sin.
Also you have said, marriage is valid between 2 men or 2 women, same sex marriage. Jesus himself said.
4 He said to them, "Have you not read that He Who made them in the first place
made them man and woman? 5 It says,
'For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will live with his wife.
The two will become one.'
6 So they are no longer two but one. Let no man divide what God has put together."
Same sex unions are not marriage. I'm not saying it isn't a relationship, but it isn't a marriage relationship.
The one I really don't get is your adamant defense of "Choice". As it is called, or "reproductive rights", or "healthcare" as one pundit called it. What is actually is, is the ending of a pre-born life, a life that is totally defenseless.
I don't understand you defending the life taker, but not defending the one who loses their life, with no way to defend themselves.
KJ21I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.Does this mention the word abortion, no not specfically, but I cannot imagine the God that knows us "in the womb" wants our life snuffed out "in the womb". I believe sincerely, life extends to the womb.
There are other points of disagreement I have had, these are just a few.
I have so many faults and flaws I can't call someone a heretic, nor is it my job to do, God alone can judge that.
But, if you call yourself a teacher, or pastor, or minister, you must watch what you say, "your doctrine" more closely to be agreement with what is written. That is a burden I don't want, but for those called pastor, looking at modern day christianity, and I'm talking evangelicals, word of faith, mainline old school protestant, I believe way too many pastors and churches have lost their calling. That a large portion of the church has lost their way.
And they are into "pleasing man" instead of "pleasing God".
Not just you, but myself and everybody who calls themselves christian need to constantly examine themselves. I know I fall way short, way to often.
