Beto probably the fakest politician in the last 20 years...and that's saying a lot.
A Bobby Kennedy wannabe without the brains, guts, or charisma.

Beto O'Rourke on every late night show hosted in NY or CA campaigning for Texas Governor tells you about all you need to know about him. He relates to celebrities, not real Texans.

This is the first I've seen any of these clips, which tells you how irrelevant these programs have become and how only the echo chamber of his direct orbit is paying attention to him.

I never watched late night shows when I had cable. I occasionally might watch a clip here and there when it is on facebook or something and a funny one, which is usually when it is an animal guy like Robert Irwin or Hanna and the host (usually Jimmy Fallon) and other guests are all scared.

But like most people I don't have cable anymore and don't bother connecting an antenna to get local channels because streaming is so much better and I can't stand commercials.

Even no I have Sling for college football but that is literally all I watch on there.

Pretty much no one younger than 50 watches basic tv anymore let alone late night shows.

Cheers to Beto. He's sucked up billions of Democrat dark money that cannot be used to support real candidates.

I'm sure Beto, if that is his real name, will dust himself off and reemerge in another political race soon. The guy is too big, too well known, and too rich not to.

Doubt Beto runs for office still again . 3 time loser…he's done .

There are simply too many other rich families with underachieving kids looking for ego enhancement. They will demand their chance .

Beto will now float off to some kind of bureaucratic fluff appointment. Party reward for being a loyal minion.

Maybe

But such a gig wouldn't last long .

The TV cameras expose Beto's inherent goofiness .

Why doesnt he move to LA or a very blue area where he is loved and adored and run for office there.

He will run again for something. He may take an appointment in some level of government as one said, although it would have to be something in Biden's circle since I don't think he would take one at a Dem state leader or even dem Congress members circle. He would only accept one that gets him exposure like Biden's skateboarding czar or some other created position.

Given his position on guns he probably would be a great Secretary of Defense ... he meets Biden's qualifications (********).

Well, the Democrats think there are, what, 48 genders or so, Lord only knows how many races they imagine exist.

That is, from one perspective Beto has lost:

A race for Senate
A race for President
A race for getting his fiction published
A race to be favorably compared to the Kennedies
A race to have better dental attractiveness than the British
A race to be more debonair than Don Knotts
A race to appear more intelligent than a fifth-grader
A race to become the most popular poster here at SicEm365 after hacking into a certain member's account

The guy just can't win
I have a niece who absolutely fell in love with him during the Senate race, went to several events, got her picture taken with him (she's a gorgeous Columbian immigrant, so the staging was great for Beto). Niece is mid-40's, teacher, bleeding heart type, chirpy & upbeat & falls for all the liberal platitudes for all the right reasons. Furthest thing from the angry, intolerant progressives that dominate the scene today.

When she started gushing about Beto posturing to run for POTUS in 2019, I told her she should write him a letter asking him not to do it....that he couldn't win the primary and would be better served keeping his powder dry for the 2022 Gov race......that he's a great candidate, can raise money and fire up the Democrat base but the POTUS primary would drag him so far left that it would make him unelectable for anything in Tx.

And here we are....

he can't help his ownself. he's just a loser and he enjoys asking out of state liberal lunatics for more money to finance his lost causes. he should star in his own movie about his obsession for losing one race after another and looking bad doing it..

I am troubled that Beto received @3.5 million votes. Sure he lost, but I am surprised he pulled in the votes that he did.

BTW: I did not vote for him.

He won 43 percent, which is about the regular voting base a Democrat gets statewide, he was nothing special outside of the media.

In fact, he won fewer counties than any other Democrat in the last decade plus.

Obama won 43 and 41 percent of the vote in 2008 and 2012.

Bill White won 42 in 2010.

Paul Sadler won 40 percent in 2010.

Wendy Davis won 39 percent in 2014.

David Alameel won 34 percent in 2014.

Hillary Clinton won 43 percent in 2016.

Lupe Valdez won 42.5 percent in 2018.

Beto O'rourke won 48 percent in 2018.

Biden won 46 percent in 2020.

MJ Hegar won 43 percent.

A Democratic candidate with the exception of the 2018 senate race and 2020 election has a low 40s threshold before they tap out in Texas.

In every race mentioned above the Republican won close to 55 percent or more except for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020 and Ted Cruz in 2018 and John Cornyn in 2020.

Donald Trump suppressed GOP votes in Texas suburbs, the minute he wasn't on a ticket or a midterm referendum they returned to double digit margins, and Cornyn still won by close to double digits on the same ticket as Trump in 2020.

Democrats have blamed voter turnout as an excuse for eternity with these races as well.

Record turnout in 2020 still couldn't defeat Donald Trump or John Cornyn.

A Democrat hasn't eclipsed 49 percent of the vote in a gubernatorial race since 1982.

Bob Bullock, who was a conservative Democrat that supported George W. Bush for president, was the last Democrat to win a state wide office and the only one since 1982 to do it with a majority statewide vote.

Lupe Valdez received more votes than Beto in their gubernatorial runs, and 43 percent was their collective ceiling.

Look at every gubernatorial race vote percentage for a Democrat since the last Democrat won a majority in 1982, you'll notice a pattern this century in particular, bolded indicates victor:

1982: Mark White 53%

1986: Mark White 46%

1990: Ann Richards 49%

1994: Ann Richards 45%

1998: Garry Mauro 31%

2002: Tony Sanchez 40%

2006: Chris Bell 29.8% in a four way race.

2010: Bill White 42%

2014 Wendy Davis 38.9%

2018 Lupe Valdez 43%

2022 Beto O'Rourke 43%

The low 40s is the Democrat voter ceiling, if you can't get out the vote to produce more after 28 years then you don't have the votes.

Hysterical excerpt from a NYT Beto post-mortem. His own campaign manager said that every time he campaigned in rural areas (which was his early strategy) his approval numbers in those areas went down. Same old story, the more people see/know Beto, the less they like him. There just aren't many with that special talent.

Not sure why dems venture out to campaign. Biden hid and won. The stroke victim from Penn hid and won.

Just yell abortion, abortion, abortion and hide is a winning combination for the left.

Also of trivial note, the last two Democrats to win the governorship in Texas were Baylor grads.

The more people actually learn about fascists they dislike them ... that's why the most successful fascist candidates are brain dead ... the more the Bidens, Fattermans, Betos, talk, the more they turn off people.

Or, like the people who voted for Biden, people who vote according to their tribal politics, regardless of reality.

The Democrats have already voted in a dead man (DeLuca) and two Brain-Dead candidates (Biden and Fetterman), it's no stretch that Democrats would support someone with no qualifications just because he reminds them of a famous Dead Democrat from long ago.
