Africa and Latin America?!?!?! I wonder why?! Lol
It is tough to persuade anyone to agree with you when your high-level representative does not speak English.
No doubt.

It's also tough to persuade countries who've Idolized Russia for decades, still depend on them for military equipment and tend to like their warlord/strongman style of governance that they need to ween off Russia. It's comedic that this is considered some sort of "gotcha" comment, even as fruitless and pathetic as Kamala is.

It's also amusing that that's what he decided to post while Biden was in Kyiv with Zelenskyy, as if his head scratching non-sequiter was the most important news of the day...

Kamala failing to get African support for the Biden White House is a non-sequitur?

Do you know what that term means?

[Non-sequitur: noun, a conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from the previous argument or statement]

Or maybe "non-sequiter" is a different term I am not aware of...

I still cannot understand why this moron surrended Afghanistan to the worst regime in the world and left thousands behind and we''ll "stay with Ukraine as long as it takes?"

Uh huh, sure. And you chose to highlight that useless bit of trivia from an account with like 1200 followers, on the day Biden was making history in Kyiv with Zelenskyy, because...?

By history making you mean the first time air raid sirens were used purely as a prop for a media opportuntiy?

So then its unnecessary and useless bit of trivia...but not a non-sequitur.

Afghans didn't want us there in 2001, 2011, or 2021. At least Ukraine wants us there, that is until a few years of Russification once we give up the ghost.

This functional idiot, who Obama basically called the stupidest man in Washington, is trying to start World War III to distract from his complete incompetence. He's literally the stupidesest and most dangerour chief executive we've ever had.

Well, I recall the Russians saying they would talk if those talks included an initial no-condition promise for Ukraine to not join NATO. I also recall that Russia never even implied they would retreat from the territory they seized, much less pay damages for the civilians killed and property destroyed.

The Russians basically made demands and no promises.

**** them.

https://www.theamericanconservative.com/ukraine-is-afghanistan-all-over-again/

[The thinking in Washington goes like this: for the "low cost" of Ukrainian lives and some American dollars, the West can end Putin's strategic threat to the United States. No Americans are dying. It's not like Iraq or Afghanistan '01'21. This is postmodern, something new, a clean great power war, Jackson Pollock for international relationsgetting a lot of foreign policy mojo at little cost. It's almost as if we should have thought of this sooner.

Well, we did. It didn't work out past the short run, and there's the message. Welcome to the new 1980s-style Afghanistan, with the U.S. playing both the American and the Soviet roles at times.

At first glance it all seems so familiar. Russia invades a neighboring country who was more or less just minding its own business. Russia's goals are the same: to push out its borders in the face of what it perceives as Western encroachment on the one hand, and to attain world domination on the other. The early Russian battlefield successes break down, and the U.S. sees an opportunity to bleed the Russians at someone else's bodily expense. "We'll fight to the last Afghani" is the slogan of the day.

The CIA, via our snake-like "ally" in Pakistan, floods Afghanistan with money and weapons. The tools are different but the effect is the same: supply just enough firepower to keep the Bear tied down and bleeding but not enough to kill him, and, God forbid, end the war that is so profitablelots of dead Russkis and zero Americans killed. (OK, maybe a few, but they are the use-and-forget types of foreign policy, CIA paramilitary and special forces, so no need to count them.) An ironic historical bonus: in both Afghanistan 1980s and Ukraine, some of the money spent is Saudi. See the thread yet?]

I won't abandon Sanity.

I won't lie to sell my position.

I won't ignore the deaths of innocents in the name of politics.

Some here have done so, it appears.

You also won't identify how letting Russia annex all/part of Ukraine is preferable to the current situation.

Since I oppose Putin's invasion, of course I do not consider that acceptable. Have you ignored all my prior posts?
