They know what's coming in November but are too intimidaed by Trump's potential negative mpact in their own congressional races.
He's also benefited greatly by being out of the limelight, at least by Trump standards. We don't see him saying stupid and absurd things on TV as much as we used to. But when his quotes and comments start getting more play once he's finally the nominee, he will remind all of those independents who were on the fence why they could never vote for him.
