Was in a meeting today about EVs. By the time 2024 comes around we will be too far down path to turn around. Manufacturing coming south. Fear damage is done.

I don't see how Trump makes it to election day as a candidate. The attacks are daily. Now the media darling Hutchingson is attacking Rudi and Trump's acceptance of him.

Even if not convicted, when does he become unelectable? At some point he reaches a level that he can't be effective. MAGA may vote for him, but can he get anything done besides fend off attacks?? I fear it will be four years of 2020...

By traditional standards, he should never have been electable. But he was. Current polling clearly says he still is. And Democrats obviously think he is or they wouldn't be wasting so much time & effort trying to destroy him.

The fact that he is as strong today as he's ever been should force you to ask what you're missing. it's not that 2 out of 3 GOP voters are stupid. It's that at least half the country was deeply dissatisfied with what they're getting in return for their taxes. And still is. They'd like to have a fighter like Trump with a demeanor like Reagan. Such a thing is not in view.

Yes. He's electable. The state trials are more likely to help than hurt him, and the federal trials likely won't happen before the election. And Dems are panicking…...

If you take a look down and see where we've been, you can easily see the circles as everyone keeps returning to their original opinion.

1. Trump is electable. 2016 proves that. He can also lose, 2020 proves that. HIs chances of winning in 2024 have absolutely nothing to do with 2016 or 2020.

2. Lots of Republicans want someone else to win the GOP nomination in 2024. But so far the non-Trump contenders have done a piss-poor job showing how they are the right choice to lead the nation. DeSantis has the governing chops, but is stiff and stale in his banter. Dude has no flash. Ramaswamy has energy, but the frenetic image of a kid trying too hard to impress. Christie and the other retreads are not going to win over the base, they committed to hating Trump and so they look too much like just another Democrat. No one wants 2008 again.

3. The media is going to keep Trump in the spotlight. They love the ratings and Trump loves the attention. Only way that changes, is if some other Republican catches fire.

Those are the facts. Anyone saying otherwise is lying to themselves.

Trump is doing better now than he did in both 2016 and 2020. Doesn't mean 'boo' in terms of predicting 2024, but the numbers support him right now.

Since I have been backing DeSantis (with some interest in Scott), I can't help but wish those guys would try some policy balloons to see if they can get some excitement. It's obvious what they are doing now is not winning over anyone.

Polls are not votes. 2016 worked in Trump's favor. 2020 worked in Dems. 2024? If Trump wins with thisuch daily attacking, it will be a bloody 4 years

Biden is still leading in the swing states, last time I looked. Maybe you've seen something I have not.

Biden is still leading in the swing states, last time I looked. Maybe you've seen something I have not.

I've posted a few showing him ahead in NC, GA and AZ, margin of error in the others. I saw an electoral map last week based on Reuters polling and he was in the 3-teens, 2016 range.

The trend is moving his way everywhere….
