So, once again. a poll with Trump losing to Biden, but Biden losing to other Republican contenders.

It's a damn shame Republicans can't wake up and figure out we have better options than a geriatric loser and re-tread who is likely to lose. Again.
LOL, not exactly the right take. This one is a relative outlier.

We have an A+ NYT poll showing Trump winning in a landslide, and then we have this one showing Trump running behind all his GOP competitors. Obviously the two polls are not sampling the same universe. So which one is correct? Is this one spun to help Desantis? or is the NYT poll spun to help Trump?

LOL. Outlier, and not the right take because it disagrees with your take. I get it.

Several polls have said the same thing. This isn't the only one. I posted another a couple of weeks ago earlier in this thread. Guess we will see if you're right, since Trump is going to be the nominee. But my money says you're wrong, and going to be sorely disappointed. Just like last time.

one out of five polls this week says Trump loses and the other four say Trump wins. Which one is the outlier? Why are the Democrats trying to force Joe Biden to step down so they can run somebody else?

As for a poll from couple of weeks ago, things change dramatically within a week in politics..

The one that says Trump loses, of course.

But it's good some people are confident in Trump winning, I guess. I am sure nothing will go wrong.

51 vs 48 against Biden in recent poll shows popular vote win as well as electoral win. He doesnt need more ceiling than that.. 3 percent MOE and plus 50 is a strong poll.

Agree that polls dont equal votes but looking at the messaging from Dems, they are worried
"We won, the last time, 50 states, think of it, 50 states," he told the Freedom Summit, outside Orlando, Florida. "We won every state. We then did great in the election. We got 12 million more votes or so … 12 million more votes than we got the first time."

Biden Checks His Latest Poll Numbers To See If Israel Still Has Right To Defend Itself
WASHINGTON, D.C. According to sources, President Biden has been awaiting results from the latest polls to see if giving Israel a right to defend itself is a popular thing or if they should just be annihilated or whatever.
"The Biden Administration plans to announce harsh condemnation of Hamas or maybe Israel," said Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, "We're still waiting for pollsters to get back with us on which condemnation is morally just."
Sources say Presidential approval numbers have dropped in recent weeks, as Biden has been torn between appeasing his supporters who are pro-Israel, and appeasing his supporters who want to shed every last drop of Jewish blood until the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are erased from existence.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been overheard disagreeing slightly with the Biden Administration's standing policy of letting poll numbers determine a nation's right to not be swept from the face of the earth. "We would prefer that Biden endorse our right to live," said the Prime Minister diplomatically.
At publishing time, President Biden had called for the complete annihilation of Israel after checking the results of a poll from Harvard University.

What's Behind Kennedy's Poll Numbers? Voters Dread a Trump-Biden Rematch.
Frustration with the two men likely to be the major parties' nominees has led voters to entertain the idea of other options, New York Times/Siena College polls found.

A looming rematch next year between President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump has left voters deeply dissatisfied with their options, longing for alternatives and curious about independent candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., according to new polls of six battleground states conducted by The New York Times and Siena College.
Both Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump are viewed unfavorably by a majority of voters in these states, one-fifth of voters don't like either of them, and enthusiasm about the coming election is down sharply compared with a poll conducted before the 2020 contest.

That frustration and malaise have prompted voters to entertain the idea of other options. When asked about the likeliest 2024 matchup, Mr. Biden versus Mr. Trump, only 2 percent of those polled said they would support another candidate. But when Mr. Kennedy's name was included as an option, nearly a quarter said they would choose him.
That number almost surely inflates the support of Mr. Kennedy, the political scion and vaccine skeptic, because two-thirds of those who said they would back him had said earlier that they would definitely or probably vote for one of the two front-runners.

GOP voters will decide that.

In a couple she does better. Most of them she either does not or not significantly.

He can't do much worse.

Honestly he gave the GOP a presidential win against Hillary that it did not deserve and might never get again.

There is just not much of a constituency out there for what the GOP is selling: foreign wars, tax cuts for the rich, mass immigration (without citizenship), slavish devotion to Israel and Wall St., etc

And the demographic transformation (that they helped bring about) is crushing them

You sure you want to believe those polls showing how everyone wants Trump? I am telling you, if it looks too good, it is. We are being fed what Dems and media want GOP to see, to run Trump. They are counting on "reasonable" GOP types more interested in how they are perceived than winning. Trump runs, it will be another 2020.

I don't believe he'll get the chance to, when he loses once again. Trump's lone win was against a historically weak and unlikable Democrat candidate in HRC. He hasn't won anything since, and there's no reason to think it will be different the third time, IMO.

I like some of the things Trump brought to the GOP (limiting involvement in foreign conflicts, trying to enforce border control, trying to limit China's influence). Other things, not so much (out of control spending, pettiness, inability to follow through on campaign promises). If the GOP can't do better than him, it is indeed in trouble.

Rod Dreher:

Bad Day For Republicans, The Unborn
I woke up this morning to the following text from an American conservative friend:
Quote:

I don't know if you've been paying attention to the election results in America yesterday.

Conservatives LOST. Big time.

In any state where child sacrifice was on the ballot, such as Kentucky, or even recently-conservative Ohio, child sacrifice won. This winning streak is unbroken since last year, and even includes dark red Kansas. Americans demand their child sacrifice. Period.

Secondly, in other states where abortion was not on the ballot, such as purple Virginia, Republicans still lost. Despite Biden's atrocious poll numbers, and the deeply divided Democratic Party, the fact that most Americans live paycheck to paycheck, we are on the brink of a 3-front war, and on and on, it doesn't matter. Poll numbers don't even matter anymore. It's all about turning out your voters, and the Democrats have a much more sophisticated get out the vote national apparatus, and have approximately 5 times the money. They are not going to lose anytime soon, and certainly not in 2024.

Yet, the GOPers keep saying but the polls... Dems are showing them exactly what they want to see. If it is too good, it is not real. Trump going up no matter what negatives come out? Looking forward to Primaries to fact check, maybe we can then run Haley or DeSantis real candidates.
