Did I make an excuse? If so, that wasn't my intention. I couldn't care less what Trump's sycophants think, nor am I afraid of offending them, as you are.
Well, if you don't mind acting like an ass, you do you.

Well, to be fair, when has that ever stopped you?

Reminds me when old white guy McCain got the Republican nomination. Anyone with eyes should have been able to see that he would stand no chance against the younger novelty running as a media caressed incumbent.

Poll: Majority of Iowa GOP caucus-goers don't believe Biden legitimately won in 2020
Preliminary Iowa Republican caucus entrance polls on Monday highlighted the grip former president Donald Trump maintains on Republican voters and the extent to which his false claims that the 2020 election was rigged have dominated the GOP electorate.

Nearly two-thirds of Iowa caucus-goers said President Biden did not legitimately win the election in 2020, according to results from network entrance polls conducted by Edison Research.
Those numbers come as Trump has made false claims surrounding the 2020 election a key part of his stump speechand his bid for a return to the White House. During a campaign event in Indianola, Iowa, this weekend ahead of his caucus victory Monday night, Trump declared that "radical-left Democrats rigged the presidential election of 2020, and we are not going to allow them to rig the presidential election of 2024."

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election, and challenges to myriad election-related issues have been repudiated more than 60 times in court.

Do I believe Joe Biden garnered 15 million votes more than Barrack Obama with a campaign of limited public appearances and minimal enthusiasm ?

Of course not.

But since I can not prove widespread election fraud…….he did.
There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election, and challenges to myriad election-related issues have been repudiated more than 60 times in court.
that last part is not true.. dig deeper on the court cases.

It was never about the fraud, it was always about getting away with using non legislature written election rules.

A bit of a magicians trick, but played out to perfection..
A relatively minor issue which wouldn't have changed the result, but way to hustle with those goalposts!
we only broke the law a little but its ok
Sorry, were we arguing whether it's okay or whether it was widespread enough to make a difference? I think that was the original point. But you keep hustling!

Gonna be funny as Hell when all the January 6th grannies and grandpas along with their Selfie sticks, cell phones , and Trump flags are given a pardon by President elect Trump.

There will be a river of Liberal tears. It will be beautiful. Perhaps we can make January 6th a national holiday. It will be perfect stuck right there between New Year's Day and MLK, Jr.'s birthday! Perhaps we could make it on Ashli Babbitt's birthday instead to spread it out a little bit.

What goes around comes around. The pendulum is about to swing back HARD!!!

we are not arguing whether it was wide spread enough to make a difference. That is a fact. Every contested state did it, several uncontested states did it. There are literal cases showing they did things incorrectly and came to the conclusion there was no ability to correct, not that it wouldnt have changed the outcome. Those are measurably different.

There are several here that were on the ground in contested states and they will tell you that they didnt want to effect down ballot outcomes by chainging anything and there was zero push by Trumps team in this direction so it was easy to not do anything.

Whatever makes you feel better counselor.. most safe secure and fair election ever
The fact that the FBI colluded with social media to squash a legitimate news story then the gov't getting a doc signed by 30+ intel guys saying the laptop story was Russian disinformation, shows the election was rigged.

Was the election "stolen"? Don't know. Was it crooked? Absolutely.

Ok, Trump won big in Iowa. It's Iowa. The demographics in Iowa play well to Trump. He has a lead, but let's not attribute on Primary win in Iowa as the collapse of the US Political System.

He is going to win big in SC too. Just like Iowa the demographics play well to his message and supporters.

Let's see how he does in NH and on Super Tuesday. If he comes out of Super Tuesday like Iowa, it is over and the question of why his indictments are being overlooked is valid. Media loves to get ahead of themselves.

I didn't. But, you know, IA used to be a purple state and now it's not, Why are all the formerly solid blue Great Lakes states now the purple battlegrounds (or outright red like OH).?

So many Trump detractors allow visceral aversion to obscure the dynamics at play. They are fairly obvious, and entirely healthy.

I think he does some of both. We often wonder how authoritarian regimes came to power historically. We're seeing how it works now in real time. They appeal to legitimate grievances, and to some extent they do offer relief.

While I think they're more frightened by the prospect of a Trump presidency, make no mistake - their best chance of winning is Trump running, not Haley or DeSantis. Saw an article on it a few days ago in the NYT. Insiders on Biden's team are saying the same thing.

Recent polls show it would be a closer race if it's Trump vs Biden as opposed to Haley or DeSantis vs. Biden, who should beat Biden more easily. I just posted one from a few days ago. Our best chance of losing in 2024 is running Trump (and we will lose if it's him - wait and see).

I suspect that Trump will win the Republican Primary hands down and either the establishment (with help from the dems) will find a way to keep him from being the nominee and slide Nikki Haley into his spot

or

They Trump ends up being the nominee and then they'll convince Haley to run independent.
