  • Launch a National Health Equity Initiative focused on Black men
  • Legalize marijuana at the federal level to break down unjust legal barriers that hold Black men and other Americans back
  • Lower costs by enacting the first-ever federal ban on corporate price-gouging for food and groceries
  • Lower rent and provide down payment assistance to triple the number of new first-time Black homeowners

[My sense is that some people are so accustomed to the censorship and repression of right-of-center views that balance strikes them as bias.

In City Journal, Jacob Siegel has a powerful piece about "the plot to manage democracy." Excerpts:

Quote:

The assumption that voting in national elections is a neutral process that belongs to neither major party but allows American citizens to choose freely between them is, at this point, inaccurate. Americans casting their votes in November will do so within the guardrails of an increasingly managed democracy, designed to grant party elites control over its outcomes. This does not mean that the election's results are already determined, or that individuals should not vote. No one knows what will happen; even a "managed" election could still come down to narrow margins in a few states. Much space remains between what the elites want and what they can accomplish.
A decade ago, this might all have been dismissed as the ranting of some far-left or LaRouchean political conspiracy. Today, it describes public events extensively covered by the mainstream press. Shortly after the 2020 election, a breathless article in Time celebrated the "Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election." The article detailed "a vast, cross-partisan campaign" that "got states to change voting systems and laws" and "successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation." More recently, we saw the orderly replacement of President Joe Bidenno longer the "sharp as a tack" geopolitical mastermind depicted in yesterday's propagandawith a new Democratic nominee, whose glaring political liabilities were once captioned in a headline by the liberal Atlantic, "The Kamala Harris Problem," but is now heralded as a political genius. More recently still, in late August, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg acknowledged in a letter to the House Judiciary Committee that his company faced regular pressure from senior Biden administration officials to censor Covid-19-related Facebook content, even satire, that the government didn't like. "I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it." Zuckerberg also admitted that Facebook had throttled discussion of the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, after the FBI warned the firmin a deliberate falsehoodthat it was Russian disinformation. (The point person for the administration's pressure campaign against Meta and other social media platforms was Rob Flaherty, the former Biden White House director of digital strategy, who is now the deputy campaign manager for Kamala Harris).

The might of this system was publicly unveiled in the 2016 whole-of-society attack on Trump. Every aligned institution in America, from the New York Times to the CIA, lent its credibility to unfounded claims that Trump was an agent of Vladimir Putin, or a fascist leading an American Nazi movement, or some other heinously disqualifying label. The details were less important than justifying a state of emergency, in which Trump and his supporters could be treated as national security threats and denied constitutional protections. Despite ultimately failing to prevent Trump's election, the 2016 exercise validated the potential and organizational structure of the whole-of-society playbook. It fueled the funding and growth of a vast network of nonprofits dedicated to "protecting democracy" and "election integrity."
These organizations now occupy a quasi-permanent space in the U.S. political and electoral infrastructure. Using this network, the party-state seeks to control elections. A comprehensive review of all the groups, techniques, and actions involved in this endeavor would require an encyclopedia-length book. The aim here is to provide an overview of some of the main lines of effort. These roughly fall into four categories: lawfare, censorship, institutional interference and targeted policy, and information operations.
Read it all; it's important. The most meaningful way in which the media are biased is not in that they tell you what to think. It's that the set the framework for what you are permitted to think about. My sense is that some people are so accustomed to the censorship and repression of right-of-center views that balance strikes them as bias.

We should be amazed by how frequently the fascists are openly racist and unconstitutional. Unfortunately, they no longer surprise us with their depth of evil.

The trend is towards a Trump & GOP landslide. Speaker Mike Johnson will likely have a larger GOP majority and the GOP will take the Senate. Now, if only we can get a solid majority leader like Rand Paul, Mike Lee, or Ted Cruz.

i dont see the GOP taking all 3

I think they get potus and possibly take the senate with 1 or 2 votes plus vance but i think its a strong possible that they lose the house

The money is pouring in to retake it and the senate. Much more than potus

Lots of urging at all levels for Republicans to vote early in order to relieve the load on the ballot chasing operations.

That's one of the things I cited here as an urgent need immediately after the 2022 mid-terms. One can always nit-pick the scale and quality of what we're doing, but by any measure GOP has done a very good job going from zero to credible.

Arizona Voters Registered with 'Residence' as Abortion Clinic, Strip Club, High School, Cardinals Training Center

"PILF released video footage showing commercial businesses where Arizona voters are registered despite not living at the addresses. J. Christian Adams, the president of PILF, told Breitbart News that the state's voter registration form makes clear registrants cannot list businesses as their primary residence.
"Election officials should do what PILF did they should take the voter roll, see how many people are registered at commercial businesses, and do something more than nothing," Adams said.
Among the commercial businesses where Arizona voters are registered to vote are an abortion clinic, gas stations, liquor stores, vacant lots, schools, a smoke shop, a bank, fast-food chains, a strip club, golf courses, roller rinks, bars, and even the Arizona Cardinals Training Facility.
Adams told Breitbart News said this is an issue that Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) ought to fix before this year's presidential election and before PILF takes legal action.
"This is a pervasive problem throughout the state … let's hope Arizona does something without having to be sued," Adams said.
As Breitbart News reported, PILF exposed similar voter registration issues in Clark County, Nevada, finding that voters were registered to vote at strip clubs, casinos, Harry Reid International Airport, smoke shops, gas stations, and other commercial businesses."

Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.
