The full answer would be long and boring.

The short answers are

A) state polls are different in methodology and size from national polls and are also less frequent

B) aggregators do not all use the same polls, and this shows disparities between state and national results as a reflection

C) state polls actually showed motion in Trump's favor about a week before the national polls started moving, especially in the battleground states

It certainly looks like the fascists ard laying the ground work for the use of force to prevent a Trump inauguration. The propaganda machine has been overdrive throughout the campaign and the White House has been using extreme rhetoric for 4 years (really 8), calling Trump a "threat to democracy" and comparing him to Hitler projecting their own sins on to him.

Which candidate has deceived zero primary votes in 2024 because she was installed behind closed doors in a palace coup?

Which party routinely undermines democratic norms to manipulate elections in a particular way? All through the current election cycle they have fought, and continue to do so, to remove candidates from ballots and protections against fraud from voting procedures. And they have a record of using all kinds of tricks, deceptions, & criminal behavior to manufacture fake bores & fake ballots. The party always talking about "threats to democracy" ard themselves the biggest threat to the democratic process. Never mind that the US is a republic, not a democracy.

Which party has colluded with Big Tech to censor Americans, destroying their 1st amendment rights, and have been lying about everything for 4 years while decrying "disinformation"?

Which side of media regularly uses Goebbelsian tactics to "report the news" inaccurately in lockstep with each other, regularly using the exact same phrases to describe events, especially about Trump? The fascists have been doing that for decades.

Which party has repeatedly sought to disarm the public, denying our 2nd amendment rights & jumped on every mass shooting by one of their constituents (trans radicals, for example) to justify "common sense" measures? Their proposals never make any sense and are characterized by attempts at sweeping bans of entire categories of guns. (Despite their inability to define exactly what an "assault rifle" is, for example.)

Which party has bogged us down in proxy wars while undermining efforts for peace? Under Trump we had zero foreign wars.

Which party has zero respect for human life, not only regarding foreign wars but also a longstanding obsession with killing as many babies as possible, including after birth? It's the most consistent item on their agenda: their goal is abortion in demand enshrined as law with no restrictions of any kind on when and how they can murder innocent babies.

Which party has demonstrated repeated antisemitism with attacks on Israel and violence against Jews, often with the blessing of the administration?

If the GOP gets both houses of Congress, the Dems will be powerless to stop it. Their refusal to certify will make obvious what it is: a childish tantrum by sore losers. And Trump supporters will have tons of schadenfreude. Meme makers will have a field day.

The greater danger might be the willingness of the fascists to use violence maybe even trying to instigate a civil war. I wish I could say there is no chance of that but their rhetoric, arrogance, complete lack of morals, & control of many national institutions might make it very tempting especially if they think Trump will put them in jail where they belong.

I've watched a lot of campaigns in my life.
This woman is the most unqualified and stupid person to have ever run for the office. No one can legitimately listen to her speak, and think that she is someone we want representing the US on the world stage. She sounds, behaves and looks like a total moron.

She truly is someone who slept her way to the top. She is a washed-up hooker.
