Early vote data analysis

Key Question - how does a ground game that has underperformed so badly on early/mail voting turn around and win it with turnout on election day?

Only way the fascists turn it around is massive fraud. The prostitute inspired no enthusiasm. The only reason people have to vote for her is TDS and sane people are realizing more & more what an idiotic idea that is. There are no positive reasons to vote for her because she is stupid & mostly speaks gibberish. The rare instances she makes sense it's with ideas stolen from Trump (& no reason to think she actually supports those ideas) or ideas that are radially evil.

Interesting that Trump gained Dems like Robert Kenndy and Tulsi Gabbard and lost Republicans like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. I'll take that trade.

I don't think any of the Republicans who ran in the primary could have done better than Trump.

That said he still left lots of votes on the table by doubling down on Israel and not reaching out more to Muslim Americans and the anti-war left. Promising to cut foreign aid to ALL middle eastern countries would have aligned with conservative principles of smaller government and less government spending without compromising national defense. He would have crushed Harris in Michigan none of us would be sweating it this morning.

If Trump wins it will be because enough of the anti-war left went to the Green Party.

Nicki Haley vs Kamala Harris would have been funny because it would have been a race to the bottom with the lowest voter turn-out in modern history.

Couldn't disagree more. If he had decided not to run, and assisted someone say, like DeSantis, instead of trashing him, I think any number of Republicans could have performed as well as, if not better than, Trump. There are a number of candidates who are smarter and better than Trump, and without his baggage.

His position on Israel helped him more than it hurt him. The pro-Hamas crowd and racist, anti-Semites were likely not going to vote for a Repub in the first place.

We'll never really know. Those candidates (DeSantis, Haley, Vance, Pence etc) will get their chance in 2028.

DeSantis is great on policy but he doesnt have the charisma.

MSM would have eaten DeSantis alive and he wouldnt have made the inroads with Blacks and Hispanics the way Trump has.

The anti-war crowd have never been more disillusioned with the Democrats and were ripe for the picking.

The calling people racist for wanting to cut foreign aid crowd, is a very miniscule portion of the electorate, but unfortunately has a lot of stolen tax dollars behind them.

Yep - Trump has the charisma to work at McDonalds and garner voter support.

imagine DeSantis, Ted Cruz or Nikki Haley doing that and it just looks stilted and awkward.

Trump should win. Worst case is Kamala squeaks by with 270-285 votes. Best case is Trump in a romp carrying all of his 2016 states and picking off one or more of NM,NHVA/MN.

Pollsters are herding. Calling it a toss up, because no one want to risk making a call on what the 0's and 1's might do. If the 0/1 demos show up, it'll be an early night. And….right now….

DT is a double-edged sword. Sure, he's got charisma. He also turns half the country off with the **** he says. Half the country hates the man with the intensity of a thousand burning suns, as a result. Perhaps being smart on policy but lacking charisma isn't a bad thing.

As for cutting foreign aid, I am not sure how that makes one racist. Holding Jesus's death against the Jews might be.

You're missing the point. That charisma might be red meat to MAGA. But when it turns off half the country against him and DT loses the general, it was all for nothing.
