Exactly. That was one of Trump's biggest mistakes the first time: too many EO's. To be fair, he didn't exactly get much cooperation from congress. This time might be different. He won in a landslide, demolished his opponents, & it was his shirt tails that gave the GOP majorities in both houses. He has lots of leverage. He also already has congressional leaders willing to work with him. Maybe Speaker Johnson will grow a spine and show real leadership.
And the younger generation is enjoying the more decadent Western lifestyle. They aren't interested in building a military power or imperialism. They are on the fast track to serious collapse. Even if they take Taiwan back it won't be for long.
