Allowing abortion in the case of rape is problematic. What would constitute "rape" that would justify an abortion?Two drunk college kids who were being irresponsible, and the woman decides weeks later that she was raped? Would rape have to be proven in court, or does there only need to be a claim of rape? By the time the investigation and litigation is done the baby may have been born already. If all you need is a claim or allegation, then will the woman be required to name her attacker? If not, then I suspect there'll be a sudden, sharp increase in the number of rape claims just so women can get abortions. And we would be killing babies off of lies.

Actually I agree with Aliceinbubbleland. Abortion (at 15 weeks or sooner) should be a decision between the mother and father and ultimately the mother. It is not our place to speak for every woman in the world and her individual circumstances. It is a decision between her and God.

My daughter recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. We cannot imagine life without him.

I would disagree. While rape and incest are horrible acts, murdering an innocent is much worse.

A rape or incest victim can heal (with extensive therapy, counseling, and time.) There is no healing from being murdered.
