The makers of the documentary The Fall of Minneapolis were on the Megyn Kelly Show today.

They go through a lot of the disinformation and manipulation surrounding the Saint George Floyd case. The thesis is similar to the fake Michael Brown "hands up, don't shoot" and similar situations most of what the left-wing media portrayed was not supported by actual facts.

Clearly Derek Chauvin did not get a fair trial, and I have thought murder was way over-charged. Curious a couple years later if people have changed their minds at all about the case.

The things that quickly jumped out at me:
1. The autopsy that clearly states Floyd did not die of asphyxiation
2. The clear evidence the "hold" Chauvin employed was part of MPD training and the body cam footage that clearly shows he was not on his neck
3. The rulings by the judge that clearly shaped the evidence (not allowing FLoyd's history of drugs and violence, not allowing the the fact the cops called EMT well before the incident, etc.)
4. Saint Floyd's behavior both physically and lying to the police before Chauvin even arrived

I think you could add this incident to the long-line of disinformation foisted upon us by the regressive media and their brownshirts.

The Fall of Minneapolis documentary.

Basically a handful of cops were knowingly sacrificed in the attempt to limit looting, burning and killings nationwide.

Hard to say.

Can you imagine the slaughter if those cops were given a fair trial by an unbiased judge and jury ?

The punishment may have not fit the crime. But there was no reason for Chauvin to treat Floyd as he did. After he was cuffed he was not a danger to anyone.

If it hadn't been GF's death it would have been someone else's that ignited the firestorm. The Defund The Cops movement and anti-cop press was primed and ready to move wherever/whenever.

Any attempt to explain the GF incident aftermath as an organic groundswell movement is a fool's errand.

They were the same people doing the same things, the difference was democrats outright sponsored the Floyd riots; bussed in rioters, community organizers that were part of a nationwide network that was created by the gun grabbers and then used for the women's marches against Trump, ready to march when the order is given, they paid their bail and publicly cheered them on. Of COURSE the Floyd riots were more widespread.

The autopsy said that the cause of death was homicide due to "cardiopulmonary arrest" from "law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression."

The autopsy said that the cause of death was homicide due to "cardiopulmonary arrest" from "law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression."
Chauvin's defense attorney, Eric Nelson, has argued that Floyd died as a result of drugs and preexisting health conditions. And under cross examination, Baker said he believed those factors played a role.

"So in your opinion," Nelson asked, "both the heart disease as well as the history of hypertension and the drugs that were in his system played a role in Mr. Floyd's death?"

"In my opinion, yes," Baker said.

Mr Baker performed the autopsy.

Thanks for sharing. Not a doctor and hard to reconcile that conclusion with these comments, but I am sure a medical expert here can explain it. I read that as no injury to his neck, which as a layperson seems odd if a knee on his neck contributed to his death, but #notadoctor.

NECK: Layer by layer dissection of the anterior strap muscles of the neck discloses no areas of contusion or hemorrhage within the musculature. The thyroid cartilage and hyoid bone are intact. The larynx is lined by intact mucosa. The thyroid is symmetric and red-brown, without cystic or nodular change. The tongue is free of bite marks, hemorrhage, or other injuries. The cervical spinal column is palpably stable and free of hemorrhage.

Do not recall if he was asked under oath if he was pressured to come to a particular conclusion.

The left won with Floyd.

They convinced millions of Americans that cops aren't to be trusted and that we have a massive problem with racism. They were able to drill that into the minds of wealthy white liberals, millennials and the majority of Gen Z.

The repercussions will be catastrophic over time and they will only have themselves to blame.

They knowingly push false narratives for political power through brainwashing and they're not prepared to deal with the consequences. It's how they operate the economy, media, academia and everything in between.

When sh i t hits the fan, make sure to let them know that this is what they wanted.

It's also a playbook that can be rolled out again at a moments notice.

If a conservative does get into office in 2024….get ready for a repeat since somewhere in this county a black man is going to get shot by the cops or harmed in someway….and the media-academic complex will blame it on conservatives.

Yep.

Public leaders know its bs but they play along with it because it's lucrative and gives them more power.

People that truly buy into this stuff are so married to their worldview that when people like us point out that this is a 'wolf in sheep's clothing' concept, they attribute it to racism. Or they really just hate our culture and use it as an excuse to destroy it.

They think we're downplaying racism or trying to maintain it, but in reality we're saying this is a massive red flag. They're playing with fire and they don't realize it, its so frustrating and sad.

Agreed. Much of the social justice fascism has replaced the unions as a funding source for regressive fascist politicians. Groups like Burn Loot Murder, etc., extort millions from corporations and wine moms and then funnel some of that to Democrat politicians ... after they buy themselves houses for themselves and relatives.

I'm as pro-law enforcement as anyone.

I've called out BLM from day 1 and believe the entire movement has done irreparable damage to our country.

Heather Macdonald is one of my heroes. She more than anyone has proven time and again that the "cops murdering blacks" narrative is total BS.

But Chauvin got what he deserved. Totally unnecessary force that clearly contributed - whatever other conditions GF suffered from - to his death. Chauvin didn't have the balls to testify.

Honestly, seeking to understand how you reconcile these facts:
1. The coroner stated there was no injuries to Floyd's neck
2. Chauvin executed a restraint sanctioned by and trained by the MPD

Floyd was a 300+ lb., 6-foot+ gigantic man high as a kite with a history of violence who had been resisting arrest for more than 30 minutes. What force was exerted on him and if it was unnecessary, under what conditions would you consider restraining a subject necessary? Are there any?

He kneeled on his neck for over 9 minutes. That is outrageous. One of the most difficult videos I've ever watched.

1. The report said no "life threatening" injuries to the neck itself. But the report - and several others - determined that the neck restraint and compression caused the death. One of the foremost experts testified that a completely healthy person would have died (even though the burden was only to show it as contributing).
2. Chauvin's conduct was NOT sanctioned or trained. It was solely a short-term (usually "incidental"), "last" resort when all other restraints fail. GF was already cuffed and on the ground, and again, almost 10 freaking minutes. Multiple officers, including Chauvin's actual trainer, testified against him on that.

I support law enforcement and agree with Sombear. What we needed to fix this is a minor change in police training, not the burning and looting of cities and the deification of GF. Those business leaders who lost property should sue democratic leaders that encouraged that behavior.

We have a bad history of creating new victims trying to get justice for other victims.

1. So does it seem rational to you that Chauvin kneeled supposedly on his neck for 10 minutes and there was not a single bruise or injury to Floyd's neck? Does that make sense? Have you seen the body cam footage? If you have, where is Chauvin's knee? The "expert" did not ever see Floyd's body and is a hired gun with a reputation of testifying to whatever is needed. I am not asking how you feel, I am asking what the evidence shows.

2. Do you think the training manual that shows the restraint as part of training is fake? Do you think Chauvin's trainer might have been influence by is superiors or potential threats on his life by the burn loot murder crowd? Do you think that might have influenced his testimony? His testimony was that there is not leg-neck restraint, but that assumes Chauvin's knee was on his kneck.

Yes, I've watched the videos several times. Chauvin kneeling on his neck is plain to see and nobody challenged it.

The lack of neck injury does not mean, air was not obstructed. That's basic science.

Have you read the excerpts from the training manual? It does not promote anything even close to what Chauvin did?

Sure, I guess it's possible every prosecution witness and medical examiner lied. But that's what trials are for. Chauvin sat and watched and decided not to tell his side of the story . . . whatever that would have been.
