Now, if DOGE wants to upgrade our National specifications to take on a China in the future? I am all for it. Restructuring, is something I think should happen. Coordinating Dept of Labor with the Technical Agencies of Transportation, Energy and others. All for it, we live in a world where we need it and we need the efficiency of coordination. But, doing away with any oversight of just what this guy is talking about and relying on the "private sector". It is all relative. China has made a policy decision. The US has made one not to. Alternative fuels got caught up in politics. Even though solar makes sense to be part of a total grid, we seem to look at it as being a liberal.

Because they are not profit oriented. Their Corporations have State goals and profit is secondary. As long as we are profit first, to the point of cutting operating and r/d for cost reductions to create executive bonuses and dividends China will have a theoretical edge.
