If you google is Nasrallah dead, you can find reports of both results (dead and alive).

What, are you in jr high ?

Simple proposition.

Don't hurl random, nasty insults and you won't get any in return. If you can't abide by such simple behavior……..then your education will resume .

That kind of behavior is about to end this free forum. The end is nigh.

Do you believe Iran will avenge these deaths or will they continue to do nothing ?

Will the Iranian people demand war ?

Probably. And then do nothing. These guys see what happened to Gaza and they want no part of that in Tehran.

Hopefully you are correct.

However it's possible the Iranian people and their Mullah's are going to demand revenge for this and other casualties.

Israel was very clear at the UN yesterday. Then within a matter of minutes of the speech, the wiped out they Hezy leadership and much of the Iranian military leadership. Now, Iran gets to question how it happened and will it happen again.

When weighing the cost, they will consider the incredible intelligence that Israel has used in the last few days. Where that intelligence came from? Can they trust the guy next to them. Can the trust the piece of technology just brought into the office/field within the last few months. They will determine that the cost is too high for the time being.

Hello temporary peace!!!
Because peace in the Middle East is never permanent

Israel has intensified their attacks throughout the region.

Stunned Turkey and Iran have not intervened.

I have been a life long supporter of Israel; but something has gone totally out of wack.

Time to te evaluate US blank checks to the Zionist State.
What is out of whack is the idea that Israel is condemned to an eternity of tit-for-tat proportional warfare with its enemies, warfare in which Iranian proxies EVERY TIME target Israeli civilians and Israel EVERY TIME targets military assets in response.

Iranian proxies launched the most brutal conventional military assault on civilians in our lifetime....literally shooting people on the dance floor for the sheer glee of it, just because those people were Jews, in four-digit numbers. That gave Israel justification to use its vastly superior military assets to demolish those proxies, which they are doing. Totally logical. Israel has shown great restraint, compared to its adversaries.

In WWII we firebombed German and Japanese cities to break the will of their peoples to continue the war effort. Israel is manifestly not doing that, as other posters have noted. To the extent there is collateral damage in Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, and elsewhere....that is Pavlovian disincentive for the local population to tolerate Iranian proxies in their midst. Sure, it will incentivize some young men to join the intifada. It will also incentivize some fathers and grandfathers to rat-out Iranian proxy networks to Israeli intelligence.

Israel did not start this; but Israel is going to finish this. Good for them. So quit whining and put on your big girl panties on. Israel is killing people who want to do the same to us.

558 Lebanese have now been killed.

Israel is going to pay a high price for these indiscriminate air attacks.

And the sooner the better.

Only then will the Zionists negotiate a peace treaty in good faith.

Hope Turkey finally intervenes.

Israel has already paid a high price for indiscriminate attacks on citizens. For years. Invading to degrade the ability of their enemy to continue doing so is long over-due. Civilian casualties are unavoidable. The difference is, Israel's enemy TARGETS civilians, while Israel goes to extraordinary measure to prevent harming citizens.

Turkey, if it wishes to be taken seriously as a world power, should help Israel take out Hizballah.

Turkey is a world power, as Europeans have continued to re learn through the years.

They need to send in some air strikes on Israeli Air Force bases.

Just enough to reel in Israeli arrogance.

Maybe then peace can be negotiated.

Turkey is not a world power. Membership in NATO artificially inflates their position but they are not even a reliable ally...

Bingo

And America only pushed for Turkish membership in NATO so we could place missiles closer to the USSR (and control the straights that link the Black Sea with the Mediterranean)

Israel has been an important stabilizing effect in the region.

The problem here is Iran, which badly wants to start a regional war.

70 years of near continuous war would prove the opposite of that point.

The creation of a Jewish state in the heart of the Islamic world has been in source of conflict in the region.

Arabs have never really gotten over it

Christopher Hitchens always said the creation of Israel was legal…but probably unwise

It would have been much worse without Israel.

cf the Iran-Iraq war from the 80s if you want a grim example.

It's just a conflict prone area

As you said….is it was not Israel…the region would be fighting over something else…Sunnis vs Shiites or something else

Well no one said that (other than liberals)

Islam has always had bloody borders

But everyone who was not a utopian could foresee a Jewish state in the middle of the Arab world was going to be a source of conflict

I guess it always will

700 years from now it will probably be a similar story

Without US military and economic support , Israel won't last even another 75 years.

And the changing demographics make it inevitable that US aid will be ending within 2-3 generations.

Within 20 years. No one under 40 is in favor financially supporting Israel. The Zionist Christian movement is mostly Boomers and a handful of Gen X. When they die off in the next 20 years the era of blank checks will end. That is why Israel is doing all they can to empty the vault and take what they can now to buy off the Gulf Arabs with our money so that they can survive in an future without American money.

Of course they are leaving America a burning husk in their wake, but they dont care because they were never our greatest ally... just our greatest parasite.

Odd that you imagine most here would agree with that kind of garbage.
