Not a single non-partisan person cares about the Jan 6th riot.
This despite the millions of dollars spent on lawfare, impeachment, congressional hearings, television producers assembling evidence, and television ads.
Try winning on policy Giggles.
I disagree. And that's why Trump loses. There's a sizable enough Republican voter who says "he'll no" to Trump because of 1/6.
You are a partisan.
FWIW, one of those arrested was from my hometown and was a grade behind me. He is/was a local attorney.
Back when I was on FB regularly, some political arguments would break out between some of us who grew up there. A pretty good divide between right and left. Jimmy Carter lives in the next town over so that's kept a lot of Democrats in the area.
At some point right before or after Trump was elected, someone would occasionally chime in on a thread with some of the most vicious rhetoric towards Republicans I've ever read especially among lots of old friends. He would post under Earnest T Bass (Andy Griffith character). I was appalled. A friend who still lives in town told me who he was.
Guess who was arrested for entering the Capitol on January 6? Earnest T Bass himself. Apparently he got twisted sideways when he thought gun control might get tight.
I've always laughed when people talk about January 6 and MAGA. LOL! He is the ANTI-MAGA. Far left Democrat for most of life for sure.
MAGA took over the Republican Party but it's not what what Republican has been historically. (To me) MAGA is more grievance than it is platform. I think that poses a problem for Trump. He has to limit the number of Republicans who say he violates their values.
