And then there are those who, on January 6th watched it on live TV, watched leading Republicans condemn Trump for his actions in addition to members of his own staff, such as the following:

Former Trump aide Griffin: I will never not get sick to my stomach thinking about the fact Donald Trump sat in the room off the Oval Office watching Fox News, scrolling through Twitter, seeing police officers being beaten, hearing Mike Pence was moved to a secure location because his life was in danger, and said 'so what?'

And then there are those who say so what that's history what does that matter now? They didn't seem to want to respond to the question of what if he had been successful. No, they just rationalize it away and vote for him anyway. This is where we are as a nation, and we are to blame. We gripe and troll, but most of us do little else.

You've been told this was an orchestrated event with intent to overthrow the government and install Trump…you believe it without a second thought.

If a small amount of people could accomplish such a task, then you'd have to concede that our government is incompetent, helpless and can't govern nor protect itself: if it's that weak then it can't uphold our rights…wouldn't you say that's a much bigger threat to America than anything else? I mean if J6 supposedly could overthrow power, then you're pointing your finger at the wrong people.

You would also have to prove that Trump orchestrated all of this, of which there are no facts to support such claims.

In reality it was mob mentality carried out by people who are constantly gaslight by their government and fellow citizens…like you whose trying to gaslight this forum into believing false narratives about J6.
Live TV says we were not gaslighted. Trying to re-shape the narrative falls against the evidence seen by all.

I would ask you why the Democrats would only release part of the videos, destroyed the Stalin Show trial records, and cannot account t for all the agents and Pelosi denying security; but we know you cannot answer or think for yourself.

His actions on January 6th alone proves he is unworthy to be president. However, there are a few other things that one can add to this convicted felon. However, you and your "we" already apparently know the long list to which I am referring .

Tell me, what would have happened if he had been successful that January 6th? Is that what you wanted to happen?

He was successful on January 6. He wrote some tweets and they were published. He gave a speech, and the microphone worked (people heard it). Thats what he did.

I know what happened and by whom.

That anyone would believe an unarmed collection of tourists, old folks, grandparents, and oddballs could generate an 'insurrection' against armed police; backed up by the infinite resources of the FBI and US Marshals……needs the care of a licensed psychologist.

As such a narrative defies reality and common sense.

Some individuals were out of control, some were protesting and many were merely wandering around.

Yeah, your responses or rather lack of a credible one pretty much speaks for itself. Rationalizations and avoidance is all you guys have. Truth often does that to people who don't want to handle it. Yep you're going to vote for the person who played the central role in this event, hoping he's elected so you don't have to deal with the verdict if it makes it to court.
You don't want to deal with admitting that he sit on his butt during the event allowing people to be hurt and killed, and later praising them for their actions in it.
You are going to vote for this person. What does that say about you?

It says I am experienced enough and confident enough to evaluate current events for what they are …..and not for what relentless propaganda attempts to tell me.

Unarmed individuals primarily over the age of 40 have never led insurrections.

When Nixon bugged Watergate ….i wanted him impeached.
When Clinton had sex with an INTERN in the Oval Office ….I wanted him impeached.

When Joe Biden repeatedly violated has Oath of Office by flying illegals throughout our country in the dead of night …..I wanted him impeached .

There was no 'insurrection' …..inspired by Trump or otherwise.

So I don't want him impeached.

Now we have gone round and round a few times.
Neither of us is going to.change his mind or vote.

Nixon resigned before Congress could proceed with his impeachment, an almost certain outcome and Clinton was impeached, although the effort failed. Biden probably will never be punished adequately for all his crimes, including being the most prolific & successful coyote in history.

It's absolutely a mindless rant. The fact that you worded multiple posts almost word for word proves it.

January 6 was a riot by some angry people, with a lot of honest, good people there just for a legit Protest, and Trump's part in it was legal and in no way an "insurrection" or direction to do violence or break the law.

You display nothing but petty spite and foolish nonsense in posting as you have on this point

People voting for Trump are making a reasonable decision based on the available choices, and your bitter refusal to accept that is compounded by your ignorance of how many of us wanted someone else for the GOP nomination, but are making the only choice available that does not severely hurt our Republic.

Ok, then answer the question about what you think about him sitting on his butt watching his citizens fighting and injuring each other but he refused to stop it for hours? You are going to vote for this person, despite what he did, which was not putting America first. Your rationalizations speak for themselves. Loudly.
It's a simple question. And the answer is as well . Come on people, think about what type of person would do what he did, and what he is eagerly looking forward to doing. You are going to be complicit in those actions.

You have gone 'full aggy' with your repetitive comments.

It's never good to go 'full aggy'.

Vote for your gal. She remains the dumbest vice president in the last 100 years.

But magically Harris will make a brilliant president and commander in chief. Little doubt she will continue the proxy war with Russia. What could possibly go wrong ?

You keep asking the question but you never put forth any suggestions as to how he was to stop the riot.

Was Trump to individually call the FBI operatives in the crowd and command them to stop letting people into the Capital?

Was Trump to instruct Capital police to not shoot unarmed trespassers?

Was Trump to order Pelosi to adequately protect the Capital?

And finally, what does it say about your candidate that over 75million are going to vote for Trump over Giggles?

I know what a coup attempt is like. I've lived through coup attempts. BUDOS, January 6 was no coup attempt.

It was a protest that turned into a riot. Makes no difference in my voting choice because Trump disqualified himself from my list of candidates I would vote for before he won the first time he ran, but the whole waving the bloody shirt bit is pretty tiresome.

Okay, but make your argument as to why we should then vote for those who said "so what" to our cities burning based on a false narrative THEY built, to rampant crime due to their soft on crime policies, to flooding our country with unprecedented levels of unvetted illegal immigrants, and to nude men with their pennises hanging out walking freely in ladies' rooms. And that's just for starters.

Your question isn't new. It's been brought up here many times. What none of you have presented is a compelling case as to why the alternative "so what" is the lesser evil. You're telling us there's a fly in our drink so we should drink the cup of poison instead.
