This is the cartoonish official logo representing white people from Ireland and nobody cares.

There are also teams out there with Mountaineer and Hilltoper logos/mascots that are of course a reference to Appalachian White people .
Never heard anyone from those regions complain and say they were offensive stereotypes...when of course they are stereotypes about rural mountain region folks.
Not everything is done to be mean.
People don't choose sports mascots that they hate or feel are mean spirited .....they choose them because they have history or are intimidating or fun.
