There are also teams out there with Mountaineer and Hilltoper logos/mascots that are of course a reference to Appalachian White people .

Never heard anyone from those regions complain and say they were offensive stereotypes...when of course they are stereotypes about rural mountain region folks.

Not everything is done to be mean.

People don't choose sports mascots that they hate or feel are mean spirited .....they choose them because they have history or are intimidating or fun.

redskins, whiteskins.......white liberals will always contrive a way to scold people over words. They can't help it. The virtue posture is the most important thing the world to them, as it builds their own sense of self-worth without having to accomplish anything of substance.

Like when they insisted on LatinX when something like 90% of Latinos (whose language is predicated on Male/Female pronouns) were like F off with that?

It's legitimately weird to me how very well educated people (mostly white women) continue to come up with bat sh8t looney ideas.
amid great wealth and privilege, the daily struggle is not to till a garden for the next meal. It is to find meaning in life. Family can fill that role quite well. So can faith. but for many, political ideologies is a easier option. "Save the (insert contrivance here)!" Say that a few times a day and you've done your bit for mankind and can head off to the mall, or yoga class, or......

There is a reason why so many of the communist revolutionary figures of the 20th century came from the middle or upper classes....
yeah contrivances "The j6 protestors are patriots!" Or "The courts are rigged" or "All illegals re violent". You know contrivances come immoral leader.
