My wife is small, super fit and looks great in designer clothes. Her sister is neither of those things. She probably doesn't care how a dress looks on a mannequin that looks like her sister because it won't look like that on her. For example, my wife looks great in a romper…most women look pregnant in them.
There's room in that space for all body types, to paraphrase MJ, fat people buy clothes too.
Whats at issue here is people losing their ever loving minds that a clothing brand has chosen a hot, relatively fit, blonde woman as a spokesperson. Why? What is wrong with that?
Although you make a good point, I think most women would prefer to see what the jeans can look like, instead of what it looks like on a fat woman.
The ideal is still to be fit. When I'm buying stuff I want to see the ideal version, not the used car version, even though I buy used cars.

I do agree that's still the ideal. 67% of women over 25 are overweight and 41% are obese. It's actually hard for my wife to buy clothes at a lot of stores in the US because a 24" waist is uncommon.
I know plenty of women, I just don't shop with or for them when it comes to clothes. My wife knows what she wants and she gets what she wants, I don't interfer with her clothes shopping.
That said I don't have any close relative female or close friend female who is fat. I know plenty of fat women, but how they like to shop, I stay out of that mess.

Yea, she is. I'm about 6'3" so figured our son would be taller, since she is so tall, but he stopped at an even 6'.
Yes, I will admit I don't have a clue how to buy clothes for women. It tried early on in the marriage, but when I saw my stuff was never getting worn, I decided to stay out of that.
