The truth of the matter is that all of these Leftist ideologies are variations on the same thing: socialism. And all are based on Marxist thinking to some degree, although I don't think Hitler ever admitted it! Part of the difficulty with this is that the Left has been lying about this (& everything else) for decades. I was taught in school that fascism was a movement of the right although it never made any sense. Eventually I released that was false. It helps if we remember that far too much of the education establishment is made of hard core Leftists.

Here's an excellent recent article that explains some of this reasoning:

I would recommend "Liberal Fascism" by Jonah Goldberg. It deals with this exact subject.

OP is spot on. The popularly taught notion that if you go as far to the right as possible on the political spectrum you end up with fascism is completely false. What you actually end up with is a staunch libertarian. Fascism is just another brand or form of leftist totalitarianism and there was good reason the formal name of Hitler's party was the National SOCIALIST Party. And the Nazis didn't hate the Communists (and vice versa) because they were on opposite ends of the political spectrum - they hated them because they were the major rivals for power back in the day. Nazis and true conservatives have or had virtually nothing in common other than perhaps a strong love of country.

The nazis only came about to destroy the Bolshevik commies from doing to Germany what they did to Russia. Hitler himself said that national socialism was not Marxian socialism so take that for whatever its worth.

"Fascism" easily the least understood and most misused word in 'murica. We have a stupid country.

That is done intentionally by the communists. Label yoiur enemy as nazi or fascist bc those terms have a stench attached to them. This playbook has been used by them since the 50s to discredit the John Birch society, the paleocons and other anti communist groups. Similarly the dems use the Saul Alinsky rules for radicals which is the same type of playbook to accuse the enemy of that which you are guilty among other things.

People need to stop seeing things as left vs right.
It's pro massive government vs. pro limited government.

Massive government has a 100% track record of tyranny. It's inevitable with a government that has too much power. This is exactly why the US has a bill of rights.

The modern left views government as a tool to correct any perceived injustice. Sometimes that's warranted. The problem is the modern left views their own inabilities as an injustice.

They want government involved as a means to seek egalitarianism, in spite of individual choices, lack of abilities, accountability etc. That's how you get DEI, universal healthcare, race based privileges, universal basic income and the majority of your paycheck confiscated by the state.

They hated each other because the Nazis were nationalists and the communists were internationalists. They were both "leftist" in the sense that they were anti-liberal and both were inspired by Marx. But the Nazis were also "right-wing" in their extreme emphasis on race and nationality, among other things.

Terms like "right" and "left" have different meanings in different contexts. That should not obscure the many commonalities between fascists and the present-day American right.

Racism isn't inherently a "right wing" thing and it certainly isn't a conservative thing . Other than some one off nut jobs here and there (that don't represent conservative values), the most racist people on the planet are on the left - as was Hitler and the Nazis.

Most of what you're calling racism is just old-fashioned hypocrisy. Leftists make a big deal of racial injustice, but often they don't want to mix with the masses or do anything about it. That's different from making racial fear-mongering a key part of your message, as the right often does.

Racism is not "right wing". That's a common myth by Dems to cover up the fact that they are the party of slavery, Jim Crow, & the KKK. They still are: to the extent the US still has institutional racism, it's most often found among Dems & Leftists in general.

Conservatism, properly defined, embraced America's founding principles including equality. It's no accident that Abraham Lincoln, the Great Emancipator who freed the slaves, was a Republican. The GOP was established in 1856 partly on the belief that slavery was evil and the determination to stop its growth and eventual disappearance in the US.

It's not 1856 any more. Racists tend Republican and anti-racists tend Democrat now. There are plenty of exceptions, but in general this is obvious.

Jim Crow laws were a characteristic of the early 20th century. As Republicans are fond of pointing out, Democrats of that era were conservative by today's standards.

Now the new Jim Crow laws are enthusiastically supported by the right. But you probably don't want to talk about that.

Lincoln was plenty racist

And he only freed the slaves as a military necessity to crush the Southern States

He was not some kind of anti-racist social justice activists

He wanted the Black population expelled out of the USA

No, they don't. Like all of American history, the Dems are the party of modern racism although it often looks different than it did 100 years ago.

Democrats like to use misleading phrases like "anti racist" as a propaganda technique to fool people into thinking they actually care about minorities. The problem is it's based primarily on them labeling everyone they disagree with as "racist" without any evidence of actual racism and readily ignore genuine racism from their own side.

Historically, it's the Dems who had KKK members (or former) in office: FDR nominated an ex-Klansman to the Supreme Court, Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia was a former Klan leader, and the more notorious white supremacists opposing civil rights were Dems & Klansmen (such as Bull Connor & George Wallace).

Today, Dems have little record in actually helping minorities or protecting their rights. In recent years, Dems have done more to harm blacks, for example, by going soft on criminals (even violent ones) ignoring the fact that their victims tend to be blacks & other minorities. Dems' radicalism in support of murdering babies and mutilating or poisoning children is an insult to the family values of Hispanics. Adding to the stupid insults, Dems prefer a genderless label, Latinx, which Hispanics hate. The other major group that Dems have alienated are Asian-Americans who Dems support discriminating against in college admissions & hiring. Both are illegal, unconstitutional, & blatantly racist. DEI is another example: the promote promoting obviously incompetent blacks to important positions (Kamala & KJP are obvious examples) who then fail miserably. This makes blacks in general look bad in the eyes of people who don't know better. Republicans, on the other hand, choose competent blacks (& other minorities) such as Clarence Thomas & Dr Ben Carson. These are some of the reasons why each group voted for Trump in record numbers. There are many other examples.

Dems brag about their civil rights record in recent years except it's all a bunch of lies, just like most of their rhetoric.

It's a fact that minorities are less likely to have valid IDs. There could be a number of reasons.

What do you believe is the reason?
Married A Horn

That's another red herring. The only "voter suppression" the GOP attempted was illegal votes. Anyone who genuinely cares about elections, the rights of all voters (including minorities), and even "democracy" would want to insure the integrity of the process with transparency, voter IDs, etc. When the Dems stuff ballot boxes with the votes of dead people & illegals aliens they cheat every legitimate voter. Then their fake leaders who are only in office because of illegal election fraud precede to support all the racist policies you readily dismiss.

If it's legitimate to require IDs to buy tobacco, board an airplane, or attend the Democratic National Convention (yes, I read that somewhere!) then there is NO reason they cannot be required and checked when voting. All of the Leftist propaganda against voting integrity is because they want to continue stealing elections.

The only ones suppressing votes are democrats. They suppressed the votes of republicans by all of their ability to dilute the true vote with fraudulent votes and illegal voters.

Whatever a democrat is accusing the republican of, that is a surefire way to know exactly what they are guilty of themselves. They telegraph their playbook every time.

"Fascism conceives of the State as an absolute, in comparison with which all individuals or groups are relative, only to be conceived in their relation to the State" - Benito Mussolini

"Communism and fascism and Nazism were all based on idealised systems, on what the world should be ideally, and how it isn't what it should be; and therefore we are entitled to change it radically and take control of it in order to do so and the immediate result is genocides" -Sir Roger Scruton

In other words, it's an evil ideology for people who reject God and want to become gods themselves. This arrogance reminds me of the very first sin: the pride of Lucifer!

Side Note: did you know Lucifer is just the Latin word for Venus - what the Romans nicknamed the Morning Star.

So when they were translating the Bible into Latin and saw 'morning star' In isaiah 14, they said 'oh hey, they are talking about the planet Venus.'

If you go up to the beginning of that chapter, Lucifer is actually a reference to the king of Babylon, which would be overthrown by the Medes (Isaiah 13:17.)

I have yet to see a single name of a person legally registered to vote but not allowed due to lack of an ID.

The actual only real voter suppression is allowing illegal votes to be cast and continuing to be virtually the only democracy in the world that resists making its system as fair and integrous as possible.

Why do you believe is the reason?

I'm not arguing that Democrat policies are good for blacks, but very little of what you're ranting about has anything to do with actual racism. Talk about voter suppression by the GOP, and you'd be closer to the ballpark.
Voter suppression as a law is objectively false. There are no voter suppression laws in the US.

You're making a huge mistake buying into that narrative. It's simply not true and not supported factually.

Really it's a coping mechanism for losing elections. It allows blame of electoral losses on "suppression" instead of policies.

America's founding principles including equality. It's no accident that Abraham Lincoln, the Great Emancipator who freed the slaves,

Lincoln was plenty racist

And he only freed the slaves as a military necessity to crush the Southern States

He was not some kind of anti-racist social justice activists

He wanted the Black population expelled out of the USA

Not true. Lincoln was far more advanced on such issues for the time and he was vehemently anti slavery years before he was elected president. Freeing the slaves satisfied a moral imperative above all else, although the timing was because of the war.

The entire idea of social justice (a fancy cover for socialism) is associated with the progressive era, decades after Lincoln's death and he did not adhere to any of their ideals. He believed in America & the constitution. By the time of his death he also had a strong faith in God.

Again with the red herring. Republicans don't suppress voting but they do try to prevent illegal voting. Anyone who believes in free and fair elections would want that.
