The law has been abused. Massively. Surely you must agree to the abuse by the leftFrank Galvin said:You are the one that put "legal" in caps. Then you explain how legal doesn't mean the actual law. LOL.Assassin said:Birthright citizenship is currently being challenged. We have been too frivolous with "asylum and residency" due to the Biden, 'take everyone at all costs' thinking. It's the left's woke brainwashing by the folks manipulating Biden, the One World Order of Soros and Open Society. That One World Order means no borders, no national currency, everything manipulated by one group. You can currently see how that failed miserably in Europe with the EU. We DO NOT want what happened to Europe to happen here.Frank Galvin said:BS. First, "legal immigration" includes asylum and residency while awaiting the results of deportation heaings. Second, "legal immigtation" includes birthright citizenship. Third, demonization occurs when you impugn the motives of a group of people who seek a better life for their families and themselves whether they do it legally or not based on a small fraction who intend harm. You can be compassionate and still be strict, somnething this group is not good at.Assassin said:Incorrect. Almost every single person here supports immigrants. LEGAL immigrants, not the crime wave of folks that Biden ushered in.Frank Galvin said:I didn't say or imply anything about his predecessor. The Cardinal from Guinea is a hardliner against mass-immigration, which he believes could result in the downfall of Western Civilization. pic.twitter.com/QrGs1k1tYA
Love Pope Francis, but Europe (and the world in general) needs a strong conservative Pope right now
Why? I'm not Catholic but I don't understand how any practicing catholic could be ok with his tenure.
Yeah…he's directly in defiance of church doctrine on multiple issues. I'm sure the "everyone really goes to heaven" church crowd loves the guy. The "I go to church on Easter and Christmas" set are probably huge fans of
What? You saying the guy before him didn't believe that?
You can't believe that and also be in line with church doctrine?
I did say that Francis seemed to have priorities that included the poor and outcasts. I hold the view that many conservative Christians do not share those priorities. As evidence I would cite this forum with its unending demonization of immigrants and LGBTQ people.
Also note you only addressed half the equation.
And the amount to ILLEGALS (cap'd just for you) is overwhelming nearly every part of the country
