It might appear to someone that Zelensky has his own agenda that isn't necessarily best for Ukraine

I would rather the President do what is right, than seek popularity.

Well... he has the opportunity to do what is right and be popular at the same time.

He got elected to fix the border and fix the economy. He is one for two so far.

He seems to be taking a lot of risky moves to try and build up the economy. Time will tell if it is going to work. Hopefully the signs of improvement and growth are there before 2026.

I think that's accurate. He did say that there will be growing pains as the economy is restructured. The overall existing system was leading us toward financial oblivion (especially when you factor in all the ancillary stuff like the graft that the left was doing with the NGOs and similar, using US Taxpayer funds).

Do you plan on using U.S. marines to get the russians out of Crimea?

If not....then its time to start dealing with reality

The Russians are there....they have it....and that is not going to change unless the United States puts its troops into the struggle to dislodge them

What's going to shock you is that U.S. involvement is going to be the only thing that will/could dislodge them from the rest of Ukraine. But we took that off the table during the surrender tour early on. We proved we had no resolve, so why should they stop? We're antagonizing their most important ally in China via the trade war, so we've even cut that leverage angle off. And Russia's pivoted to a wartime economy which helps keep them slightly afloat, along with Chinese and Iranian factories, so what's the pressure points for them to stop? Europe jumping in? Why talk splitting the spoils of Ukraine (rare earth for example) when Russia can take it for itself?

I have no desire to put US boots on the ground, but I certainly wouldn't have taken it off the table until we get something in return. Question is, would Trump escalate? Consider more military aid? He's put himself into a difficult position for future negotiations.

Biden apparently took that off the table day one

So even the Left was never willing to send troops to fight in Ukraine

So this entire DC policy from day one was to just bleed ukriane slowly while politicians in Congress engaged in getting rich with insider trading on Defense stocks

Victory would require troops….troops no one in DC was ever going to send

Biden Didn't Cause the Border Crisis, Part 1: Summary
By David J. Bier

During President Joe Biden's term, Border Patrol arrested an unprecedented number of immigrants who crossed illegally into the United States. Many believe Biden caused this increase in migration by reducing border enforcement. However, data obtained by the Cato Institute through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) challenges this narrative. In fact, the border crisis began before Biden took office and ended before he left.

From his administration's first day in January 2021, Biden actually increased border enforcement--arrests, detentions, and removals of border crossers all increased. The prevailing narrative that blames Biden overlooks the real causes of the crisis: America's robust labor market and bad immigration policies that incentivized illegal entries. However, Trump, not Biden, mostly started those policies. Biden eventually phased out some of them; he increased legal migration, and as the labor market cooled, the problem dissipated.

https://www.cato.org/blog/biden-didnt-cause-border-crisis-part-1-summary
LOL if any of that were true, 10k people per day would still be flooding across the border.

Biden's abuse was using prosecutorial discretion to circumvent statutory statutory immigration limits.
If the border crisis had ended before Biden left office, the border crisis would still be going on? That's some odd reasoning.
the only thing odd here is your suggestion that Trump caused the border crisis and Biden fixed it.

Well, as the first 100 days go. trump has the worst approval rating in 70yrs for the same time frame. Even Fox polls show the same. look for a lot more blinking, which is probably not a bad thing. His tariffs blew up in his face and folks are just worn out by him.
