No doubt the Israelis will work to overcome these problems.
and the USA will improve it with the Golden Dome.
Yeah, you really think that we will build it?

The iron dome costs 100 million per battery to defend roughly 60 square miles. Israel has 10 to defend 8000 square miles at a cost of about a trillion.

The US has 23,300 square miles of urbanized land with populations over 1M. To put in perspective, Tel Aviv has 700k population.

So, if Israel spent a trillion, we would have to spend? We are talking about 2.9 times or so to match. So we are talking ballpark of 3 trillion dollars to protect our million people cities.

Now, you guys are freaking over the current spending mess. You prepared to add 3T on top for a just in case system. I am sure this is a low number, it would actually be much more.

Now, in reality we would have other assets and the US is really too big for a "Golden Dome". So, what are we building that Donald is floating? Or, is it like everything else a not really thought out, but sounds good Bannon tactic...

Space lasers would be more practical than a "Golden Dome"

Supporting Israel makes sense

But Trump would be foolish to put ground troops into the fight.

Americans by clear majorities are happy to support Israel with intel, weapons, and money.

But Americans are crystal clear in their desire to avoid any more of their sons being sent to fight ground wars in the Middle East

You keep saying this but everything I've seen, heard, or read as a person living in America 24/7 says otherwise... if we are only talking about Boomers,,, then sure I suppose that is correct... but Boomers are only around 25% of the US population.

Sounds like a pretty limited exception - working here 20-25 years.Would not affect all who came in under Biden, Trump 1, Obama, and W Bush second term.
No, it is impacting his hotels. His kids are telling him we need these people...

How do farming and hotels make the cut...but not the restaurant or construction industry?

Looks like restaurants have been added now

I'm down to Massie or Tucker in 2028... I'll write in one of them if neither decide to run.

Imagine the dream ticket of Tucker/Massie...

Only place I want to see the US is the Straits and Red Sea keeping shipping channels open. That and anti-piracy off the Horn are as far as would go in this.

If we knew for sure where the nuclear stuff was being extracted, I would go for one USA bunker buster though

Would be surprised if true. I'm sure continued military sales/support and intel is committed, but joint ops, even aerial, are very unlikely.

Now Iran may send its own invitation to join the fight by taking shots at the 5th fleet or some outposts in Syria or Iraq, but they'd be doing so at their own peril.

Cry harder boomer... the proof is in the pudding. 30 years ago we would have been the ones attacking Iran and Israel would be the ones sitting on the sidelines having us do their dirty work because of ******ed Boomer fools like yourself... but public opinion has shifted and they can't get away with that any longer. They have to take a more hands on approach.

Are you rethinking the idea we hold Israel back and Israel is capable of handling things themselves?

That was also such a ridiculous and asinine idea.

They are a complete burden and albatross around America's neck.

If we enter a hot war with Iran - expect Russia, China, and Pakistan to intervene on behalf of Iran.... thus WW3.

Pakistan Defense Minister already said if Israel uses nukes on Iran it will retaliate with nukes on Israel.

Not rethinking it at all. I feel extremely sorry for you. You're drowning in anti Israel X posts, and getting drunk on fake information, including about the Pakistan defense minister. Hatred has consumed you and removed any objective view of reality. Find peace young man.
