Funny

Because she seemed to have no objections to the advancement of Gen. CQ Brown….one of the most radical left-liberal political generals and top brass appointments we have ever had.

I wonder if Trump or one of his advisors ever read Sun Tzu. This seems like one of the tactics he would have recommended.

Chilling. People are so braindead that they are voting on social media who politicians should use their power in government against. It's no longer dystopian novels, it's today.

the dystopia was the time the people on that list usurped the powers of their office to go after their political opponents.

Great job everyone

All to force American taxpayers to provide billions of dollars towards the medical care of millions of individuals in our country illegally.

Insanity.

Please show me proof where that assertion is correct. It isn't, Maggot talking points. In fact it is illegal.

It's also illegal for people to cross our border anywhere other than an authorized port of entry.
It's also illegal to target your political opponents for criminal prosecution.
It's also illegal for the FBI to use information it knows to be false to obtain court orders for investigations.
Yet all of that and more happened. (but it made you feel good, so it's ok!)

If you do a quick google search you will see general agreement that illegals get about 1% of total Medicaid spending. Most blue states and even some cities add state/municipal monies/programs on top of that. And since states do administer the program on behalf of the federal government, states have some wiggle room on discretion that adds to the spend. Overall, it's not a big percentage, but it's still billions of dollars which should not be spent.

but here's what your argument ignores: all those millions of refugees Biden allowed in ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICAID. They have legal status (even though they shouldn't). Cross our border illegally,, say the word "asylum" and poof you get a govt-provided debit card for living expenses and a medicaid card.

and here's another thing your argument ignores: green card holders are also eligible for medicaid (despite other provisions of immigration law which say that a "public charge" is not eligible for entry/residency). Bureaucrats have over time simply narrowed the definition of "public charge" to not include unemployment benefits, medicaid benefits, etc...... on the premise that those things are "entitlements" not aid programs.

Meanwhile, we have homeless vets living in the street, family budgets getting withered by Biden-flation, and young working people cannot afford to buy a home. Toxic mix that.....non-citizens getting all kinds of federal assistance not eligible to citizens who are finding their lifestyles constrained by bad public policy.....anywhere, anytime. It's the kind of stuff that causes ordinary people to lose affection for their government.

Must have been a very nice plane

also have a very nice air base named Al-Udeid which is the theater Hqs for CENTCOM.

That makes Al-Udeid, and by extension Qatar itself, a strategic target for attack by US adversaries.

It is not unreasonable for the host of such an installation to ask for some form of security guarantee, given that they are at elevated risk of attack due to presence US forces in their country....to make sure the US doesn't cut & run leaving Qatar to potentially face US adversaries alone.

Strategic balance. if they weren't so exposed over Al Udeid, they probably wouldn't feel the need to let let Hamas in the country at all. Some muslim countries (Iran in particular) might retaliate against a very small country hosting a significant US military presence, but none will want to be seen doing harm to a country hosting Hamas leadership.

Not trying to justify anything. Pointing how how the Arab mind sees things......

Yeah that's not the why. The why is the massive amount of money those Hamas leaders funnel to people inside the Qatari government. Add to that the fundamental agreement with Hamas' purpose that a good chunk of the Arab world shares.

You're a really smart dude and quality poster but sometimes the mental gymnastics you perform are impressive.

Any agreements we have should hinge on them not offering safety to terrorists.

You know, Qatar does have an intelligence service. So do we. And it can be presumed the two services ..."liaise"..... You can safely assume we hear a high percentage of the syllables Hamas leadership utters, that a high percentage of the people around those Hamas leaders are in controlled relationships with Qatari intel, that a LOT of Qataris who interact with Hamas are reporting the substance of their relationships to Qatari intel, and that a lot of that product is share with us (if not actually paid wholly/partly by us in joint operations). What's that worth? Would you rather Hamas leaders be in a place like Iran where they will get max protection while we have far less capabilities?

It's the yin/yang of geopoltiics. Small guys have to either cozy up hard to a great power (like Israel or North Korea), or they have to balance greater powers against one another. If they make money at it, fine. Corruption exists everywhere. So does double-dealing. The trick is to make all of it work for you more often than against you. We can certainly quibble over where is the fulcrum of balance, but we do get a lot of bang for our buck in Qatar.

Agreed. The previous Administration had the most prejudiced DOJ in the history of our country. They abused the hell out of their powers

Misplaced priorities, inexperience, minimal knowledge of American history, narcissism

Founding Fathers justifiably feared the masses.

Unfortunately we have voided the protections they instituted step by step

Trump is not just doing the same thing, he is doing much worse. Dont pretend you care about an unbiased justice system. You hate Democrats, love Trump, and cheer when anyone opposing Trump is targeted. You are a nutshell exame of everything wrong with voters. You cried hard when it happened to Trump, and you cheer hard now that Trump is doing worse.

You think I celebrated when Trump was being prosecuted? Cute. No, it is hard for a zealot like you to understand, but I don't play the tribal game you play. You wouldn't even be able to imagine a person who is consistent in their views, no matter who is in charge.

LOL I know a bunch of leftists who are quite ideologically consistent in their views You're not that. You have constructed a garden variety middle-ground fallacy to protect you from having to deal with reality. which is that the proximate threat to liberty at this moment in time is on the LEFT.

Don't feel bad. That applies to a plurality of the center left. They see themselves as pure centrists...squarely positioned between Antifa on the left and the Republican Party at large on the right, oblivious to the gargantuan framing bias their own vanity has created.

FDR did not end the Depression. The New Deal did much of the same thing as Hoover but on a much larger scale and it stretched the crisis out for a decade.

Understood

In reality it was WW2 that returned economic prosperity to the American people.

However Roosevelt still revived the country's morale.
