Tucker has become a cartoon character.

Whatever minuscule amount of legitimacy he had years ago is long gone. Wish Tucker would just enjoy his millions in some kind of quiet retirement.

Actually Tucker has never been more popular... you Boomers are extremely out of touch

the sad thing about Tucker is that he is brilliant and erudite, understands very well the philosophical crisis we are in, the need to defeat Critical Theory in detail. He could be a beacon star voice of sensible conservatism. But he has chosen to tailor his broadcast to appeal to numbskullery on the margins of the right.

Or we could not do that so they don't do the same thing when the chance arises. God this level of petty is stupid.

I make this same argument on lawfare & such...reciprocity....whatever they do to us, we can do to them, so choose wisely. BUT. Spending IS out of control. Debt is unsustainable. And it casts a pall over not just fiscal finances, but everything.....economy, national security, etc..... Worse, as defined by getting stuff passed thru Congress, there is no political will to cut anything of substance.

So IF you are going to run the reciprocity risk, at least do it on something that really matters, for everyone....now and for future generations. And I know a guy who'll be willing to do it and ignore the ensuing squeals of outrage.

and if the Democrats want to come back later and cut some program of ours?
Ok, fine. that's money which won't be spent.
We'll win Congress back at some point in the future. We can add essential stuff back later.

Solve the problem.
Pick up the pieces later.

That's just mutually assured destruction packaged in a lot of words.

Not sure I agree with the MAD aspect being a negative. Right now, the problem is that neither side of the aisle is serious about meaningful spending cuts. As a result, dynamics push us toward financial insolvency. If we can find a way to construct a model where BOTH sides of the aisle are chomping at the bit to get into power to cut each other's govt spending priorities......then the dynamics tend to push us toward fiscal responsibility.

For sure something needs done about spending. Neither party really wants to handle it because buying votes works. If I thought this would bring both parties back in line I would be all for it.

All to force American taxpayers to provide billions of dollars towards the medical care of millions of individuals in our country illegally.

Insanity.

Please show me proof where that assertion is correct. It isn't, Maggot talking points. In fact it is illegal.

Do they need to start holding off on releasing these initial reports. Seems like they're always having to make revisions that make the initial report meaningless.

It is chilling...maybe the other side shouldn't have made up things about Trump and people in his orbit and then prosecute and jail some of them for process crimes.

This is the world the democrats made.

Lawfare is bad on either side. Democrats only recognize the danger when it is happening to them.

Some call it karma. Others might call it poetic justice. I prefer the biblical description: the Dems are reaping what they sowed.

There is a difference: all the Dem law fare against Trump and others was based on laws, fraud, entrapment, etc. It was bogus and there was no genuine evidence. Trump is now pursuing justice against them for real crimes they committed for which there is real evidence.

It's absolutely bad on both sides. And I know nobody cares about this Twitter poll, but how close are we to the AG taking a look and prosecuting someone based upon mass opinion?

Thank God for Bondi. She is one step from a bootlicker, but that 1 step is important. It is vital that some small separation be maintained between who is prosecuted, and what the White House wants. That goes for anyone in charge.

Yes. Everyone needs to complain constantly about the spending until it becomes something politicians have to address. That is the only way. And we have a long way to go on that score sadly.
