Border security is good… now let's get some more deportationsTRUMP: “You gotta lighten up on this, they might have come into our country illegally but they're good people and they’re cheap workers. They’re working now on farms, in luncheonettes and hotels. We’re just focused on getting the murderers out.”

So much for mass deportations. pic.twitter.com/SeDUSn5F36
MAGA is effectively dead
But shooting domestic terrorist ICU nurses is good. MN was perfectly run.
So, you fall in behind shooting people in the street and deporting 5 year olds. Going so far as saying anyone who protests and disrupts ICE is fair game to shoot. But, MAGA is dead when he says the people that are just working and supporting their families are needed for the economy and we need to lighten up. This is what is goong too far? On a Christian University message board.
You don't see anything bizarre there?
Nah.
If you come here illegally, you take a risk of getting deported. Same as if you commit any other crime. It's cowardly to hide behind your child.
As for the nurse, he would be alive if he didn't try to be a hero.
MAGA is dead because its failed promise after promise.
And I can't stand when people act like it's ungodly to enforce the law and have borders. Ordo Amoris- we need to take care of our own flock first.
MAGA is dead because they were stupid in how they executed. Mot because of what, but because of how. It matters.
You can say all you want on the hero and the illegals. Masked Federal agents putting 10 rounds in protestors on the street and shooting 40 year old women driving away will never be a good move in the US.
Trump is backpedaling because of the heavy handed tactics of year 1. He is turning positives into negatives. Immigration is the one thing he was lauded on and he has ICE shoot protestors. If he is not careful he is going to turn Iran into a Negative.
How you do things matter. Perceptions matter. Americans will tolerate alot if professionally done. Not amateur hour.
He is at a dangerous point. Saying we can use Ireland and Spains airfields who is going to stop us? Come on
Well I agree with the execution. It's disgustingly sloppy. I put a lot of the blame on the cabinet. Kash, Bondi, and Noem suck at their jobs
There's multiple ways to read a graph, but it only shows a trend that began before Trump took office. I don't understand why new jobs is considered so important compared to labor participation anyways. If the unemployment stays about the same, then how many new jobs could… pic.twitter.com/EXYM3ASA18

Yes. Government downsizing and an economy shifting away from becoming a non-producer full of service jobs that will never pay as well.
Once upon a time, the Democrat party was the proponent of the latter. Now that a former Democrat turned Republican is doing it, they don't like it.
The Iran war may slow it down, but the economy is poised to do much better now without large scale government and ngo hiring.
Yikes. Almost every major industry group shed jobs in February.

But Americans are pissed off that their gas prices are rising and jobs are being lost.

If you’re a proponent of this war, that’s your call. But you aren’t helping anything, least of all our chances in the midterms, by pretending that this is good messaging. Most Americans care much more about gas prices than Iran. And justifiably so. Face that fact or get crushed. https://t.co/T7I17uLwDa

Most Americans simply can not 100% comprehend this.....but we are in a for real war. As in some really serious **** can happen to us.
Contrary to what many people seem to think....this is not a video game and we are not immune to some major pain.
If the worst thing that ever happens to us during this war....is gasoline at 6 dollars a barrel for 2-6 months.
Praise God....and pass the ammunition.

put your skirt down. Gas is not going to hit $6.
Remember that time when everybody said our actions in Venezuela were going to drive up oil prices? Look where we are today. We've reopened relations and new elections are scheduled. Now, apply that template to Iran. We control the Straits of Hormuz. Not area denial control by threatening to disrupt or temporarily interdict enough shipping to make people afraid to pass it.....but total and complete control Nobody will pass without our permission. And anyone wanting to pass can do so....with our protection. And it's way easier controlling that narrow strait than it was to blockade the long Venezuelan coastline. Plus, we have allies in the region we did not have in Venezuela.
A new Iranian regime will be forced to do what the new regime in Venezeula has done = stop the disruptive nonsense and join the international order (led by the USA).
Not much reason to doubt that will all happen before July 4th.
And we won't have to have brigades of boots on the ground in Iran to get that done.
