Gal gave up her secure governor position just to be fired.

Man, politics is a dirty game.

She threw Donald under the bus on Ad campaign over 235M spend.

No coming back from that.

Yeah, she spent hundreds of millions of dollars trying to make herself look badass while at the same time cutting training times for ICE agents. US citizens were killed by poorly trained agents and she immediately labeled one of the dead as an assassin.

House Speaker Mike Johnson and the rest of GOP leadership on Thursday issued a statement calling on Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, to end his reelection bid as the blowback from his now-confirmed affair has rocked his candidacy.

"The Ethics Committee has announced an investigation into Congressman Tony Gonzales's conduct, and we urge them to act expeditiously," the GOP leadership said in a statement. "Congressman Gonzales has said he will fully cooperate with the investigation. We have encouraged him to address these very serious allegations directly with his constituents and colleagues. In the meantime, Leadership has asked Congressman Gonzales to withdraw from his race for reelection."

Gonzales advanced to a runoff on Tuesday evening against primary challenger Brandon Herrera, a conservative YouTuber who challenged him last cycle.

"I would like to thank Speaker Johnson and House leadership for holding Congressman Tony Gonzales accountable for actions that have tarnished the office," Herrera said.
"

I'm looking forward to representing the district the way the people of West Texas have always deserved."
Gonazles ultimately admitted to having an affair with a married staffer, who later committed suicide.

The war is far more critical to our country than any political game.

Hopefully she can resume her success in South Dakota.

Maybe this termination will satisfy the Dems enough to resume Homeland Security funding . Though I doubt it.

But hey the company's stock will probably jump and the Dow will go up so that will be a good talking point for the White House…….

While true you know it isn't that simple and that is why we have people serve in either house of Congress for 40, 50, or 60 years.

This would be huge….. but it seems like you would have to take it out every day since it doesn't do any weed prevention.

And if a farmer had a big enough field they might not be able to just spend all day using this and then repeating every day.

Not to mention cost compared to cost of weed killer/preventer.

MAGA is effectively dead

But shooting domestic terrorist ICU nurses is good. MN was perfectly run.

So, you fall in behind shooting people in the street and deporting 5 year olds. Going so far as saying anyone who protests and disrupts ICE is fair game to shoot. But, MAGA is dead when he says the people that are just working and supporting their families are needed for the economy and we need to lighten up. This is what is goong too far? On a Christian University message board.

You don't see anything bizarre there?

Nah.

If you come here illegally, you take a risk of getting deported. Same as if you commit any other crime. It's cowardly to hide behind your child.

As for the nurse, he would be alive if he didn't try to be a hero.

MAGA is dead because its failed promise after promise.

And I can't stand when people act like it's ungodly to enforce the law and have borders. Ordo Amoris- we need to take care of our own flock first.

MAGA is dead because they were stupid in how they executed. Mot because of what, but because of how. It matters.

You can say all you want on the hero and the illegals. Masked Federal agents putting 10 rounds in protestors on the street and shooting 40 year old women driving away will never be a good move in the US.

Trump is backpedaling because of the heavy handed tactics of year 1. He is turning positives into negatives. Immigration is the one thing he was lauded on and he has ICE shoot protestors. If he is not careful he is going to turn Iran into a Negative.

How you do things matter. Perceptions matter. Americans will tolerate alot if professionally done. Not amateur hour.

He is at a dangerous point. Saying we can use Ireland and Spains airfields who is going to stop us? Come on

SAN ANTONIO One day after admitting he had an affair with his staffer, who died by suicide, U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales is dropping his bid for reelection.

KSAT Investigates

Earlier this month, House Republicans urged Gonzales to drop out of the race after the House Ethics Committee announced it would investigate Gonzales for the affair with his Uvalde-based staffer, Regina Santos-Aviles.

Gonzales was in a runoff against gun rights activist and YouTube personality Brandon Herrera.
In a statement just after midnight, Herrera said he appreciated Gonzales for making the "appropriate" decision.

"I look forward to being the voice of TX23 that our district deserves," Herrera said, in part. "It's an honor to be chosen and together we will make Texas proud."
