File a case in court to challenge. Maybe it will force Congress to quit ceding responsibility for making hard decisions.

As I've said many times...when you're making the "it's unconstitutional" argument, you're losing the argument.

Anyone who thought this was a real funeral is dumb.

Anyone who thought surrendering the moral high ground to a "Party for Socialism and Liberation" by joining Israel in this war is also dumb.

Amusing how no one is interested in digging up the thousands of Iranian protesters murdered by the regime.

Selective outrage…at its finest.

The difference is that everyone knows that the Iranian regime suppresses internal dissent by killing civilians. Every middle eastern government, friend or foe, does that. And all terrorist groups, be it Hamas, Hezbollah, or Azov do the same thing. That is why they are called terrorists.

"Our greatest ally" and "the only democracy in the Middle East" shouldn't be doing that.

But as I am not entirely sure that we aren't being lied to about the number of our own war dead in this conflict we aren't going to get to any objective truth about how many civilians the IDF killed in the process of turning Gaza into a parking lot.

Clever, dedicated killers, on both sides, always find the weak spots. Find the unwary , the sloppy , the stupid.

And take them out.

Our casualties have just begun.

Only takes one missile hit on a warship to kill dozens of sailors.
One missile hit on a bunker to kill dozens of soldiers.

If Trump remains steadfast against growing criticism and follows through…..we will effectively destroy Iran .

However in the process we are going to get hurt as well.

All to protect Israel still again.

No lobbyists ever got a better return on their money.

This is what someone who missed the observable realities about what we were told about J6, the 2020 election, and Covid looks like. Within the past decade, it has been proven that .gov is willing to lie to us about much bigger things than the number of people killed in a week in an undeclared war. Therefore it is rational to consider all options about statements from .gov.

You are a smart individual.

However you conveniently 'forget' one poignant fact.

If the United States had not spent the last 60 years fighting on behalf of the Zionist State to begin with…. none of these deaths would have ever occurred.

It is because we are playing the world's policeman that makes us a target for revenge.

And the ONLY reason we have fought for Israel all these decades is due to the intense amount of lobbying Israel has conducted on our politicians.

So you think Iran is not responsible for:
-seizing our embassy and holding our staff hostage for over 400 days?
-killing 241 Mariines on a peacekeeping mission in Beirut?
-torturing to death Bill Buckley and sending to President Regan a video of him being flayed alive?
-torturing and hanging Col. Bill HIggins?
-executing USN Seabee Robert Stetham
and on and on and on for 47 years right up to the 47 Americans killed in the October 7th attack, bringing the total US deaths by Iran and its proxies to over 1000.
(and that's not to mention the Oct 7th hostages. One Amcit was executed on film).

How much uncontestable history are you prepared to write off as propaganda in order to blame the Jews for everything you don't like?

Obviously they did all these things. The context being our coup against Mohammed Mossadegh. Had the CIA not done that and installed the Shah, do you think Shia radicals would have come to power in Iran? Historical events are part of a timeline and can only be understood as such. The rise of Hitler cannot be divorced from the terms imposed on Germany at Versailles.

Out of curiousity, why do you think neither Carter nor Reagan got a declaration of war against Iran back then and take care of business rather than waiting half a century?

Quote:

right up to the 47 Americans killed in the October 7th attack (and that's not to mention the Oct 7th hostages. One Amcit was executed on film).

To be clear, how many of these 47 Americans were killed were American citizens and how many were dual citizens? What was the other country they were citizens of? What religion did they practice? To what degree did each of these factors play in their abduction and murder? This is not to say that any of it was right, but to say "47 Americans killed in the October 7th attack" is a gross oversimplification of the matter.

...and none of this has anything to do with whether the government lies to the American people, and that's a bipartisan problem.

The other piece here is the investment the US has in Aramco. The Ayatollah class will go to war over infidels in the region. That is what set off Bin Laden, the US in the Kingdom in the 90's. That was the biggest issue in 1990 in Dharan. A few Aramco Execs, their wives and some workers is one thing, US troops was another. Those nations you list have low profiles in the region as a whole, not just over Israel. Israel is one piece of the puzzle.

It is two sides to the same coin, the Israeli lobby AND the US presence in the region that has nothing to do with the Jews. The oil investment is significant. Think about it, we can't replace that in the Western Hemisphere? Between, South America, Alaska, the Gulf, and other areas not exploited yet we could. But the initial investment is in Aramco, with the Brits. That lobby is just as strong.

Show me the data, I will draw my own conclusions. Sick of hearing from those that "really know". As I said before, don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining (Old Josey Wales quote).

No problem. Talked to some Aramco execs and their wives in 1990 in Dharan. Was shocked at how much we had invested it until the guy explained Aramco - Arab-American Oil Company. There is a special relationship there, as well.

"US investment in Aramco
The US investment in Aramco is a significant partnership that spans over nine decades, with US firms playing a major role in supporting Aramco's success. The MoUs and agreements announced recently are expected to support Aramco's strategic growth objectives while enhancing shareholder value. These collaborations cover a range of activities, including LNG, financial services, advanced materials manufacturing, and procurement of materials and services. The announcement coincides with the US-Saudi Investment Forum 2025 in Washington, DC, and builds on Aramco's long history of partnership with US companies."

The wives had the system dicked, they would talk and flirt as westerners until they didn't want to anymore. Then they would take out a shawl put it over their head and cover their face, next thing Saudis in uniforms with M16s. I found it amusing, being married and not interested watching the game was interesting.
