Axios: Elon Musk plans massive push for GOP in midterms

Tech billionaire Elon Musk is jumping into the midterms with a huge investment in a plan to boost Republican voter turnout, Axios has learned.

Musk is resuscitating his dormant super PAC, America PAC, which spent more than $260 million to help get President Trump elected in 2024.

America PAC will focus on door-knocking, digital advertising and direct mail aimed at turning out the conservative base, including voters who typically are less inclined to cast ballots in a non-presidential election year, sources with knowledge of the plans tell Axios

I don't get it either. It always looks like something out of Star Wars to me.

It's also a classic Ponzi scheme. The biggest ever and it only "works" because it's involuntary and it's the govt. Of course it doesn't really work too well because the numbers don't add up. That said, people have been predicting its imminent demise for at least 30 years.

I still think the best solution is to privatize it and allow everyone to have control over their own money without the corrupt politicians taking a cut.

You can start that with the new Generation entering the workplace, but for those that are within 15 years of retirement? That will be tough. Too much of the system they worked under is based on SS and Medicare.

A reasonable pat from you, wow. Yes, if you want to fo away with entitlements, which SS is not really, you have to do it gracefully. Better yet, fix it so SS doesn't lose out to inflation and sustains itself.

BS. If they can drop one's Health Insurance, They can drop SS. I don't feel sorry for anyone who relies on SS live. Should have saved instead of being "kick ass"
