True.
I think this illustrates another one of those important issues (with some good ideas) that the federal government should steer clear of. The swamp in Washington (politicians & bureaucrats) cannot solve such problems. They can only waste our money and create more problems. The higher one goes up the political food chain, the more corruption and incompetence there will be.

Yes, there are some areas in which govt plays a legitimate role. Most of those are done best at the state and local level. The Dept of Education, for example, has been a huge, wasteful boondoggle from day one. It needs to be eliminated ASAP. In its 50+ year history American education has declined considerably and it cannot legitimately claim any accomplishments.

I big part of the Dr one in American education overall is that too often the establishment was pushing a lot of stupid propaganda: the climate cult and other junk science, the trans cult, abortion, DEI, 1619 Project lies, etc.

But yeah…. Trump.
When did I mention Trump in this? This is a policy issue, not a Trump issue. If you check the record, Trump didn't do away with M. Obama's lunch program just made a few tweaks specifically with relaxing sodium and whole grain requirements. I have no issue with Trump's actions or positions on this issue and what we have is better than what we had from 1980-2010.
Obesity levels are still too high. But, at least it is on the agenda.
Not everything is about Trump.

I can provide the specific posts where you have turned it into rants about Trump if you would like.

In a dramatic reversal from previous trends, the majority of those granted Swedish citizenship were citizens of Finland, Norway and Denmark.
July was the first full month under Sweden's new, significantly tougher citizenship rules, which came into force on June 6.
The reforms increase the standard residency requirement from 5 to 8 years and introduce requirements covering self-sufficiency, Swedish-language skills, knowledge of Swedish society and an orderly life.

The OP referenced Obama, I have not said a word on Trump. The lady tried to get healthier meals in schools, the horror. What a monster.
My whole point is you guys wont even support giving kids healthier meals if it comes from the left. You are literally defending letting kids eat higher fat, sodium and sugar than agree with Michelle Obama. You cant even agree with her that giving kids healthy food is good.
Think about that. Forget the BS, can you even agree that school lunches being healthier is better for kids or a good thing? Or will we get more gymnastics? Knowing this crowd, more gymnastics. GOP through and through...
Never mentioned Trump he left most in place, added some flexibility that's all. I dont think he gives a **** on what kids eat

No one has attacked the program BECAUSE it provides healthy food.
What has been criticized was the WASTEFUL nature and the FORCED versus CHOICES.
But you keep ignoring those words even though multiple people have explained it to you.
Never mentioned Trump????
You have mentioned him several times. I will provide several examples for you.
From page 535:
My problem with you and the other Trump-ites is that you are more concerned with the messenger than the message.
From page 534:
If this was Trump, you would be crowing how great he is and he is fixing school lunches.
So there are two examples. There are more I can provide. But just like the study that was provided to you showing the massive amounts of waste, the increased costs, etc. you will ignore it.
The issue is not about WHAT was served, that it was healthy, or even that ketchup was allowed to be counted as a veggie. The issue was the cost and the waste in FORCING kids to take things they did not want.
