Good to hear from you. I was going to suggest a wellness check, as I don't recall any posts from you since Trump's election. I know you've been in mourning since Kamala lost.

With respect to Germany, I understand their sensitivity to the gesture given their history. Moreover, Germany doesn't have the same rights as we do when it comes to freedom of speech, and regularly censors speech it disagrees with (along with the vast majority of Europe). In fact, they're kind of Nazis in that regard (pun intended).

That said, anyone who thought that was a Nazi salute is clearly either an idiot, unfamiliar with what a Nazi salute actually looks like, or a political opportunist, trying to spin a non-event into a controversy for political purposes.

I am touched by your concern. I had been gone before the election. Waving at people or even pointing to people is only waving or pointing. So a pic is no good. Watch the video and do s little research. Pounding your chest and then extending your arm is the Hitler salute. It's banned on 6 or 7 countries for the horror it represents.

With respect to Germany, I understand their sensitivity to the gesture given their history. Moreover, Germany doesn't have the same rights as we do when it comes to freedom of speech, and regularly censors speech it disagrees with (along with the vast majority of Europe). In fact, they're kind of Nazis in that regard (pun intended).

That said, anyone who thought that was a Nazi salute is clearly either an idiot, unfamiliar with what a Nazi salute actually looks like, or a political opportunist, trying to spin a non-event into a controversy for political purposes.

It doesn't bother me when democrats give oligarchs positions of power - you know like Soros. Just Republicans. It's incredible to me they would give any position of importance to a well known Nazi! How dare they!
