It is widely known and accepted ( even by Dems who hate Trump ) that he cut contacts with Epstein very early on.

Now its possible you didn't realize this.......maybe.

Years ago, long before Trump 2016, before the apprentice, I heard some radio interview of Trump, back when he did not shake hands and probably when he was thinking about running as a young man, Trump mentioned Epstein in the interview, and Trump was his polite self then, but he finished with a jab about Epstein "liking them young". It was clear that he did not appreciate Epstein. And it's also clear that Epstein's behavior was widely known. Real question is why didn't any administration do something about him prior to Trump in 2016.

And the Spy story actually seems pretty legit. Would make sense why he was never dealt with.
