Alleges, among other things, that the company's "DEI" initiatives make people have to wait longer to get their even more expensive coffee.

/ smh

No matter what State they operate in DEI is racial/ethnic/gender discrimination and it's against the Civil Rights act

They should have been sued into the ground over it long ago

Who cares how long you have to wait, its a service based industry. Dont like the service, go somewhere else.. its not that great to begin with..

I can basically make a 4-7.00 cup of coffee from starbucks at stripes for 2.00

Absolutely this.

I haven't worked in the restaurant business since 2005, but I did everything from dishwasher to general manager for over a decade before leaving. Let the clients set the standards for what is and is not acceptable. Meet them, and you will stay in business and be profitable. Don't and you will either correct the issue(s) or eventually, go out of business. There's a reason Chili's is thriving while other casual dining restaurants are dying (and I haven't eaten at a Chili's in 10 years). They continually meet the expectations/needs of their market.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but even if I was, I would not use Starbucks for the cost issue alone. And the price of coffee is about to explode if a report I read last week is right.

Agree with you both, and it wasn't "that" long ago that this would've been the GOP position.

The market generally works these things out.

Government should not sue private companies without an affected citizen.

I'd live to see the person who waited three minutes for a latte prove it's because the server was in a wheel chair.

If a company loudly proclaims to the public and their stockholders that the plan to violate Federal law and engage in racial discrimination then they are asking for a State lawsuit

You break the law and you should be held accountable

DEI is and always has been racial discrimination
