The French government is certainly interested in creating a European military under their influence…one that they can use to bolster French power and geo-strategic influence

We will see if the rest of the Europeans bite

Since the 1950s they have rejected giving Paris that kind of power

And as we see a big part of the French electorate is not for it as well
