My local eatery has announced that due to increases in the price of eggs, there will now be a surcharge on desert items.

I assured my wife not to worry about the price of eggs, because Donald Trump is taking measures to fix this.

He's going to fix this by renaming the Gulf of Mexico.

He's going to fix this by assuring us that our sexual identities are OK with him.

He's going to fix this by revoking the Constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.

He's going to fix this by deporting the workers who put the new roof on our house.

He's going to fix this by blaming airplane crashes on DEI.

He's going to fix this by firing a bunch of forest rangers and weather forecasters.

He's going to fix this by telling us that it was Ukraine that invaded Russia, and not the other way around.

Yes, Donald Trump is going to fix this problem with the price of eggs.

I know facts will not cure TDS, but the administration actually announced a four-point plan yesterday. But it's much more fun to post histrionics.

well, maybe he knows how to stop killing chickens for no reason and repopulate the chicken farms.. thats how you decrease the price of eggs. Restocking chicken farms takes time.

Remind me, how long did Obama blame Bush for the bad economy when he took office? I remember it being at least a year, if not 4 years of blaming Bush. Trump has been in office for 39 days now. I don't see a near-term end to high egg prices and there are a lot of other inflationary issues that won't be solved by higher tariffs, but again, he's been in office for 39 days. A reasonable person needs to give a new president at least a few months before they start blaming the new president for current economic conditions. Obviously, there are no reasonable people on either side, but just speaking hypothetically.

Egg prices are a great opportunity for schtick.

Person: man egg prices are so high
Me: yeah, wonder why chicken meat hasn't increased
Person: … I don't know, I never thought about that
Me: guess we found out which one came first!

Imagine being too damned dumb to see that the only way to troll the Republicans over this is to either pretend to be too dumb to understand why the chicken egg prices are rising or to actually BE too dumb to understand why chicken egg prices are rising but still thinking they cooked others by trying to troll.

Of course it is. Create a fake outbreak but mandate chickens get vaccinated by big Pharma products. Chickens don't protest mandated vaccines. Chickens don't question experimental vaccines. All the idiot masses will be told to care about is the price and availability of the eggs.
