Thread is labeled California
There is already a thread about the floods, the senate race and other Texas things.
I didn't come to the California thread looking for the best chicken fried steak in Texas
The O'Canada thread is a great place to find recipes for salsa if you're interested.

There will be people who believe the text. When you put it in quotes, youve made an attribution.

The goal of leftist and rightist memes, regardless of the outrageousness of the message, is to attempt to sucker the opposition into belief while generating a nice laugh for their own side. Adding quotes is a simple way to accomplish that goal.

Whether he said that or not is irrelevant.
The dude is a clown and the worst governor we have ever had. By far. Even if he didn't say it. And having lived through Moonbeam, a couple of times, that's saying something.
A good percentage of our governors (until recent times) have actually been Republican. To have those days back again when we can actually get a Republican again might be a pipe dream at this point, but we can hope.
Seeing him campaign in South Carolina though? What a joke. He may have enough coastal limo liberals here in CA to vote for him, in addition to those who are looking for freebies, but I doubt he is able to sell his bill of goods on a national level. There will certainly be those in his "choir" to whom he will successfully "preach," and get their vote. But I would hope that most will look at what he's done to CA and we'll see Independents saying hell to the no. And probably some left center in there as well.
As for CA being the land of fruits, nuts and flakes. True on many levels. Just as TX being seen as the land of steers and queers has also proven to be valid as well.
There have been enough transplants out here from TX to prove that to be beyond true over the decades. Some of them in entertainment, of course, but a good number of them aren't. And most of them are masculine and fly under the radar much like they did while growing up in TX I'm going to assume.

I don’t know a single person in his or her right mind who doesn’t think that Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass need to be discarded into the dumpster of political history. The question is who is going to organize these recalls. I have both human and financial resources ready to go. pic.twitter.com/VR8uWqe1uN

This was planned from the very beginning:

Cancel fire insurance.
Empty the reservoirs.
Hire DEI overseers.
Let crazy arsonist bums roam freely.
Leave town when the Santa Ana winds are dangerously high. pic.twitter.com/vok3m4mE4p
All part of a bigger plan. There, I’ve said it. I had held back, but when Newscum announced the $101,000,000 plan to destroy the Palisades with crime box buildings, I just don’t care anymore.

Doesn't matter if hundreds of homes and businesses burn down in Los Angeles.
Doesn't matter if thousands of illegals are running amuck throughout California.
Doesn't matter if taxes are among the highest in the country, air quality is horrible, or that thousands of people are fleeing the state every year.
Gavin looks good in interviews.
And for millions of soccer Moms and at least three of our posters…….that's good enough.

If true…. this move by Coke might indirectly save thousands of lives.
Strange that Gavin would choose this particular topic in an attempt to mock Trump.
