I'd like to see both Hilton and Bianco ease off on the rhetoric aimed at each other and look toward the betterment of California.
Both are really going after the failure of Democrat policy here in CA, but they are going after each other too for various and sundry reasons.
They need to come together and put aside the slinging and instead sing the conservative tune focusing on the Democrats and their failures. If they both end up the leading candidates over all the Dems and move on, THEN we will choose Bianco or Hilton. Then let the differences fly. Right now though they have to put that aside.
What concerns me is that with the feedback I'm reading from each of the voter camps supporting these guys, the CB fans seem to be so sold on him that if he isn't the nominee and it ends up being SH vs. the Democrat, they don't seem like they would automatically vote for him.
Conversely, more of the SH supporters say if it's not Steve, they'll still back Bianco.
That's why I'm hoping both of them move on and lock out the Democrats. Because if it's a Dem vs. a Republican and SH's the guy, I don't trust the CB voters to do the right thing.

I'm hoping what Governor Newsom is quoted as saying about how he lost his birth certificate at age 7 and doesn't have a clue about how to get a replacement is fake news. Please let it be so. If he really said it, it describes today's CA in a NUTshell. I mean, as someone asked, how did he get a passport?

It will be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out.
I don't really trust the CA voters to do the right thing though.
A Republican making it back to Sacramento would be a dream come true, but there are just too many hurdles in the way.
With the governor seeing to it that three refineries are going to be closed, which will potentially skyrocket gas prices here in CA even more, that should be good for the Republicans.
Unfortunately I can already see the spin the Dems are taking on it.
Because of the war in Iran, which even DT admitted could spike oil prices for a period of time, these liberal politicians will just blame Trump, and the war in Iran or the intense rise in gas prices in CA. Even though gas prices in CA were already almost double the national average...well before the Iran war even began.
The announcement of the closure of refineries was announced well before the Iran war started as well. Which led to it being reported that gas prices would probably skyrocket again to $6-$7 plus. Again, this is without the Iran conflict in play.
But the liberals are doing what they do best, leaving the facts out and blaming everyone else.
This conflict came at a great time for them because they will use it to tell the voters that it's the WAR that is causing the gas prices to jump in CA. Leaving their own culpability in the matter out of the discussion. Even though it plays the biggest part in the problem. And there are enough diim CA voters to buy it.
