funny, before he was killed I never heard of Charlie Kirk. Now he is the 13th Apostle?

You never heard of Charlie Kirk?
You really need to question your sources of information. The left wing demoncrat media has you right where they want you.... isolated away from the truth and only hearing their propaganda.

Huh? I don't hang out on college campuses nor am I in the demographic he targeted. Shooter, you cruising the college scenes? : )

Before his killing I can't remember the last time Charlie Kirk was in the Business, international or sports news that I typically would listen to.

He was a speaker at the national convention.
He has been on multiple talk shows and news shows including CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, BBC, etc
He's not just some kid on college campuses, he's been on all over the place.

Your sources have been shielding you from the truth.
Get help

Because I didn't follow Charlie Kirk I need to get help? You guys go have really gone off the edge

no, because you didn't know anything about him means you are not terribly well versed in current affairs.

Not very well versed in the Right Wing dogma. Yeah. I tend to get my information from Wall St Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, BBC for International.

What I don't rely on is editiorials and places like FOX, CNN, Breitbart or other opinion based mouthpieces.

But, if you keep telling us what is acceptable and what isn't maybe you can get the "vermin eradicated..."

Sad thing is that of all the people in this thread, you appear to be the one who needed to listen to Charlie the most.
You need an injection of truth to heal you from all the lies you are believing.
Your posts here make that obviously clear.

Geez, you guys got it bad. Not listening to or knowing about Charlie Kirk is not a crime. Nor is listening to this guy a badge of intellectualism. There are a lot of people that speak that you and I are not aware. Some guy that debated college kids is not high on my list of reading material.

The guy that killed him should be prosecuted and if found guilty get the appropriate penalty, including death depending on the law of the state. But, that doesn't make Kirk more than he was in terms of "must read", Nobody should be killed for speech. Feel bad for his family, just as I would for anyone wrongfully killed.

I never doubted your belief in justice in this situation.
Thanks for restating it, but it was never in doubt in my mind.

Charlie Kirk was not just a guy on college campuses. He was on every network including the ones you mentioned... especially the BBC.
It's quote surprising that a guy who has been on all the major networks multiple times, and has been discussed hundreds, maybe thousands of times over the past 8 or so years on every network... is someone you've never heard of before.
He has been on the news for years because of his debates on politics, religion, social issues and even economics.
He himself has been on every network to discuss current events and hot topics of the day.
You've been living in a very isolated world.

It's like saying that you've never heard of Joe Rogan or Richard Dawkins or Noam Chomsky or Cornell West. And by the way, none of them have as big a following as Charlie Kirk.... except maybe Joe Rogan.

Actually, I never listened to any of them. I could not tell you what they say or believe. I pretty much do podcast on improving skills, not editorials. All the things mentioned before I pretty much agree with. Podcast or social media, I turn off. I put Bannon, Kirk, Franken, Klein, etc. in same basket. Opinions.

This sure is literally only social media site I do. I only do this because it is Baylor.

The Jimmy Kimmel suspension

A massive Public uprising triggered individual complaints to advertisers about Jimmy Kimmel.

The varied advertisers complained to their local and national syndicators about Jimmy Kimmel

The various local and national syndicators went to Disney/ABC and complained.

Disney/ABC has been documented saying that in 2026, Kimmel was going away.

Disney/ABC was losing $20-30 million per year on Kimmel

Kimmel goes bezerk on air, attacks half the nation, MAGA/Trump supporters

Disney/ABC takes advantage of this and suspends Kimmel to stop the negative cash flow

Liberals call this an attack against "Freedom of Speech" although it's simple math

Yeah why do libtards talk about freedom of speech? This is a TV show. It was losing big money. It wasn't funny. How can you lose that big of $$$ and keep it going? Anyway, back to freedom of speech....I'l bet big $ it doesn't mean you get to KEEP a TV show. It just means the government can't JAIL you for your speech. Kimmel N Bits has the same free speech I do.

FCC leveled threats against ABC affiliates. Ted Cruz agees

Biden did that kind of crap, pushing Tucker off the air. But isn't freedom of speech. It doesn't deal with if you get to keep a TV show. Truth is Kimmel's N Bits TV sucked and lost 2/3rds of its views from 2021 to 2025. It was also losing alot of $. Was probably propped up by USAID.

It is not so much that they "turn" to violence, it is that they see no difference between words and violence. They are wrong, but they believe what Injustice said is violence. When you believe that verbal disagreement is violence, then it is a very short path to physical violence. One of the problems among many that we face is a philosophy that argues that words of disagreement are violence. This is the justification used by Charlie Kirk's killer and by many of those who are happy that he was murdered: he had it coming.

True but they are not fooling anyone but themselves and the mental cases. That's why the Dems shard some blame gif Charlie's murder: inciting violence is a felony and should be. Leftists never take responsibility for their actions unless forced to and then they whine and moan like they are the victims (see Left's reaction to Kimmel's cancellation). They act like toddlers because emotionally they are toddlers.
Are you aware of a man named Trump?

Read Marx, the philosophical inspiration of the left. Violent revolution is not simply permitted or justified, it is required.

It is always the same: those that cannot intellectually win debates so they libel or slander their opponents.

The reason the LWNJ assassinated Kirk was because he could not intellectually outwit Kirk's ideas.

Lol. And I hear Candace Owens converted him.

In other news, he also believed Mrs. Macron is a man and a Jewish cabal is running the country.

National Catholic Register
September 19, 2025

Slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk was reportedly strongly considering becoming Catholic just prior to his assassination, according to a bishop who spoke to him shortly before his killing.

Robert Brennan, a Los Angeles-based writer and the brother of Fresno, California, Bishop Joseph Brennan, said in a Sept. 18 column in the Los Angeles archdiocesan newspaper Angelus that Kirk had a "personal exchange" with the California prelate about a week before Kirk's murder at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

The writer Brennan, who said Bishop Brennan gave him permission to share the story, wrote that Kirk had spoken to the prelate at a prayer breakfast in Visalia. The conservative activist "told the bishop about his Catholic wife and children and how he attended Mass with them."

Kirk acknowledged "speculation" about his possible interest in becoming Catholic, Brennan wrote in Angelus; he subsequently told Bishop Brennan: "I'm this close" to converting.

In his Angelus column Brennan pointed to a recent video Kirk made in which he acknowledged some "big disagreements" with Catholicism but claimed that Protestants "under-value" the Blessed Mother.

"We don't talk about Mary enough. We don't venerate her enough," Kirk said, arguing that Mary is "the solution" to "toxic feminism" in the U.S.

"[H]ow fitting one of Charlie Kirk's last videos was about the preeminent mediatrix of all time and space," Robert Brennan wrote in Angelus. "In his own way he was reaching out to her, and now, I am convinced, she is returning the favor."

Prominent Catholics around the world have joined in the chorus of voices mourning Kirk's death in the days since he was killed. German Catholic Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Mller referred to Kirk this week as "a martyr for Jesus Christ" and condemned the "satanic celebration" of his death by some of his detractors.

Kristan Hawkins, the president of Students for Life of America and Students for Life Action and a close friend of Kirk's, said on Sept. 13 that the activist's death "will be a turning point" for the country.

And Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts said Kirk's activism "restored optimism about the American future for millions of Americans."

Uh huh.

He was soooo close. And now according to Catholic doctrine, he's likely burning in hell.

Dang.

But hopefully he at least rid himself of that white supremacy you believe permeates the Republican Party.

No clue his plans or his heart. Having a Catholic spouse can help open the eyea to history etc. he attended mass most every week with his wife. Heres his own words:

"Planning War Against Fascists" - Socialist Rifle Association Boasts 10,000 Members

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/planning-war-against-fascists-socialist-rifle-association-boasts-10000-members

"Before the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, Marxist-aligned groups operating across America to subvert the nation and collapse capitalism were already on our radar.

Honestly, for anyone paying attention, the writing was very much on the wall as the Democratic Party normalized assassination culture within part of its unhinged base by labeling political opponents "Fascists" and "Nazis" for a decade. And it wasn't just leftist politicians; leftist corporate media outlets amplified the dangerous rhetoric, while dark-money billionaire-funded NGOs operated misinformation and disinformation propaganda campaigns in an all-out informational war to label MAGA supporters (more than half the country) as "literal Nazis."

In July, we published a report titled "The Protest-Industrial-Complex Isn't Peaceful, It's 'Civil Terrorism'…". Then, on September 3, we cited civil terrorism expert Jason Curtis Anderson of One City Rising, who profiled the Socialist Rifle Association and the alarming rise of far-left militancy (read the report here).

The assassination of Kirk put Armed Queers and their Marxist founder firmly on the radar of the FBI, so much so that federal agents have been investigating the group for possible connections to Tyler Robinson, the far-left, furry-loving suspect charged in Kirk's shooting..."

They have be implicated in the firebombings on Tesla dealerships and attacks on ICE detention centers for illegal aliens.

Aslan of Narnia
@AslanNexus
The single most valuable class in my lifetime was my sophomore English class in 1964. We walked in the first day and sat down, and the teacher was leaning back against the edge of his desk with his arms folded. He remained that way silently for 5 minutes until someone raised their hand and asked what we were supposed to be doing. We were stunned when he answered, "What do you think we should be doing?" Confused silence ensued for a few minutes. Nobody had ever asked us what we thought about anything before. We were soon discussing the direction of the class, and the value of education and rational thought.

We were assigned to read one book per week, and to write a binder paper page about it, or some other topic we thought was important each day. A sample of our daily observations and ideas was read anonymously in class each day, and we then debated that topic. Ideas were attacked and defended. We learned about logic and logical fallacies. We learned to defend our positions, but more importantly, to think them through before expressing them. That teacher taught us how to think and how to communicate effectively. I thank him to this day, though he is undoubtedly long gone. He made a dent in the universe.

Your source please

I've posted the graphic of Kimmel N Bits ratings drop. I've also seen others post it. Just look through this thread. Also, Kimmel is ok with some getting censored, just not himself....
