We've discussed his quotes ad nauseum on this thread, and provided links to same, for those who can read. I'm not going to repost all we've discussed in one post because you're either too obtuse or too lazy to go back and read the thread. Sorry.
Actually we haven't. When you step away from your rants about "literally Hitler!" and "Anti-Semitism!" the closest you come is something like this:
Quote:
Mr. Carlson, who interviewed Mr. Fuentes last week, has recently reinvented himself as a conspiracy peddler and apologist for America's enemies. He's defended Vladimir Putin, massaged Iran's dictatorship, praised Venezuela's, and minimized Hamas's atrocities. He claims Christian Zionists have a "brain virus" and calls Jews who care about Oct. 7 "un-American."
Which is actually quoting Ben Shapiro's opinion about Tucker Carlson without original source material.
So you choose to be purposely obtuse. I get it. That's so you - ignoring or failing to address issues on which you lack the intellectual capacity to retort (see replacement theology). Ok, I will spoon feed you.
1) Praise/defense of the dictator, Putin/Russia - For years, Tucker has given a platform to dictators and despots, and has defended their actions, while simultaneously trashing those he "hates." One example is Putin. Tucker has defended Putin and the Russian war against Ukraine for years, calling Putin the most effective leader" of his lifetime. On Michael Knowles show, he said, "I'm not moving to Russia, but Putin has been the most effective leader in my lifetime." He claimed Biden is more evil than Putin during that same interview.
He repeatedly praises Moscow as "nicer" than any city in America, stating: "And the most radicalizing thing for me in the eight days I spent in Moscow was not just the leader of the country," who he called "capable." He went on to say, "What was very shocking, very disturbing was the city of Moscow, where I'd never been … it was so much nicer than any city in my country." He went on to say Moscow is "so much cleaner, and prettier aesthetically its architecture, its food, its service than any city in the United States."
He also claimed in an interview with Chris Cuomo that he is "definitely more sympathetic to Putin" than Ukraine and Zelensky. He claimed the Russia is "thriving" under its president's leadership, claiming that Putin is trying to "make it better" for his nation. Incredibly, he also suggested that Russia is not a dictatorship, and that Putin is "winning elections" because of popularity, not because he's squelched all dissent, jailing and killing his political rivals. "Putin does not have absolute control of his country, and there are all kinds of potential rivals. He's been there for 20 years. I am definitely more sympathetic to Putin than Zelensky for the following reason: I think it's fair to judge leaders on how they do for their country,"
2) Defense of Venezuela and the dictator, Maduro. He defended Venezuela, calling it the "most conservative country in the Americas", and was glad that the Machado opposition was squelched by the dictator, claiming it "wasn't conservative enough."
3) It's all about the Jews. He of course had to compare Charlie Kirk's death to Christ's, stating at his funeral, "So it's about 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, and Jesus shows up and he starts talking about the people in power, and he starts doing the worst thing that you can do, which is telling the truth about people, and they hate it, and they just go bonkers. They hate it, and they become obsessed with making him stop: 'This guy's got to stop talking. We've got to shut this guy up. And I can just sort of picture the scene in a lamp-lit room with a bunch of guys
sitting around eating hummus, thinking about 'What do we do about this guy telling the truth about us? We must make him stop talking.' And there's always one guy with the bright idea, and I can just hear him say, 'I've got an idea. Why don't we just kill him? That'll shut him up, that'll fix the problem."
4) Stated that any strike on Iran's nuclear facilities would "almost certainly result in thousands of American deaths at bases throughout the Middle East" and would "end the American empire."
5) Used Jewish tropes to describe Zelensky, yet another person that Tucker Carlson "hates," stating, "Now if you see him on television, it's true you might form a different impression," Carlson said of Zelensky. "Sweaty and rat-like."
6) Labeled Holocaust minimizer, Hitler sympathizer, and podcaster Darryl Cooper, as "the most important historian in the United States," and gave him a platform to spew some of his more disgusting ideas. During the interview, Cooper identified Winston Churchillnot Adolf Hitleras the "chief villain" of World War II. He wasn't a hero at all, Cooper argued, but a "psychopath" who forced Nazi Germany into a war that it didn't want. And what of the Holocaust? Cooper refers to them as mere "prisoners of war" who the Nazis "just threw. . . into camps, and millions of people ended up dead." No agency was given to the Nazis. And of course, Tucker, failed to push back on any of these ideas, namely because he agrees with them.
7) Softball questions of Iranian president. Carlson didn't challenge Pezeshkian on well-documented plots to target American officials or on the regime's broader ambitions, or its clandestine nuclear program. He merely allowed Pezeshkian to spew Iranian propaganda.
8) And of course, there is his softball interview of neo-nazi Fuentes - the subject of this thread.
So as you can see, it's not hard to find some of the more distasteful and disgusting things that Tucker says and does. It does require an objective set of eyes, however. I can see how a sympathizer with such beliefs would have difficulty with that kind of introspection.
