I'm not sold on Vance but if its between Vance, Desantis, Rubio, and Ted Cruz... I would choose the lesser evil - Vance.

DeSantis, Rubio, and Cruz are all Israel-Firsters and I am done compromising my country for the sake of Israel.

Not a fan of crypto either... but as long as it remains unregulated and government isnt bailing out the fools who lose their money... I can overlook it.

I did appreciate this moment from Vance, his highlight as VP thus far, smacking around that entitled crackhead Zelensky:

Not sure how this works for you guys. Fuentes and what you guys tell us is his formidable and growing legion isn't going to vote for Vance because of his "jeet" wife. Hell, Fuentes agreed that it's better to vote Newsom than Vance.

So I am not sure how this works when Vance doesn't have the support of the Groypers.

Vance would probably need to make someone like James Fishbeck his VP. Fishbeck has been absolutely killing it lately and will destroy Byrone and that no name LT of Florida with the youth vote and independents.

Won't be Fishback. You have to be 35 to run for VP.

Thats a shame I thought he was older.

But it's a testament to how impressive he's been. Extremely articulate, polished, and confident.

A scumbag in his personal life, however.

The article says they went to court and he won.

What were your thoughts on the old hag who accused Trump of raping her? Does that make Trump a scumbag?

If you read the article, the court denied her request for a protective order for stalking. In denying the Motion, the judge noted that while his behavior was described as having an "odd nature" and "obsessive-compulsive," it did not meet the legal threshold for a stalking injunction.

However, Fishback admitted to having a relationship with the 17 year old student, and they even moved into together when she turned 18, and apparently had what appears to be a very volatile and abusive relationship.

Pretty seedy. I don't know any adult men who had relationships with 17 year old high school students, personally. I don't think even Trump has been accused of that.

Yes, Trump is a scumbag when it comes to women. While I don't believe he raped anyone, I don't put it beyond the realm of possibility that Trump did get physical with this woman (and I think she was a willing participant). I mean, here's a guy that bragged about grabbing women's genitals.

I'm glad only Christ is holding me responsible for some of the locker room talk that has come from me. At least He knows what I said in jest and what was followed up with action.

Mothra, are you willing to share some of the locker room talk you've been involved in?

Yeah, I am not referring to mere locker room talk, but multiple affairs and rampant womanizing, close friends with Epstein, etc.

I am not saying Trump is guilty of rape (or any crime, for that matter). But I am also not going to pretend he's some family man trying to live up to a Christian standard on sexual morality either. I mean, when you have sex with a porn star around the time your 3rd wife is pregnant with your child, you got some issues.

I didn't vote for Trump because he's a good person. I don't think any of us did.

that's a sea change for GOP voters, and a positive one. Likeability matters, but it isn't everything, and when people are unhappy, likeability clangs sensibilities. When people want change, they know it's probably going to take rough/tough person to see it thru. Whatever can be said about Trump, dude relentlessly pursues the agenda he was elected on. I can put up with his "uniqueness" because I'm finally seeing the things that need to be worked on get pretty well worked over.

2nd choice would be DeSantis. However his inept campaign in the Republican presidential primaries is very concerning.

unfortunately, Rubio is covered in trump slim too. He is a hell of a lot better than the bearded wonder.

I've pointed this out in response to similar comments before, but what do you think Vance was before Trump? Rubio on acid. Guy was much more moderate, and said that Trump was Hitler.

I get it - you don't like Rubio, who by all accounts is one of the biggest MAGA policy guys in Trump's cabinet and is effectively carrying out his agenda. Who knows, maybe it's because he's non-white.

But if you're going to bring up positions he had more than a decade ago, then you need to apply the same standard to Vance.

At least be consistent. .

Infuriating. Nothing wrong with Usha. I fear if he runs, she will be put through the grinder.

I think she is really cute and seems like a great wife and mother. They seem to have a classic nuclear household. I would think she should be a big plus for him with people on the right of the political spectrum.

She checks all the boxes of what a wife and mother is meant to be.

That said you can't reason with a real racist and some in that crowd will have an issue with her.

If DeSantis could win the general election…..he would be my
first pick.

But his primary campaign floundered so badly last go round….I don't believe he has any real chance.

Rubio has done a great job as Secretary of State. Not sure how that translates into a national election . But Rubio's ethnicity certainly helps his case.

I cannot think of one distinguishing moment he has ever had.

Rubio's defining characteristics are that he's Hispanic and collects paychecks from Israel.

That is his entire career in a single sentence.

He's been the greatest and most eloquent defender of Trump's immigration policy, among other things. He's able to articulate Trumps policy like no other.

But I guess the real question is, what have the other candidates done? What has Vance done? No more than Rubio is the answer.

But he's white and Rubio has Hispanic heritage, so I guess he checks a box for you that Rubio doesn't

Rubio cooperated with the gang of eight and John McCain to try and force amnesty and mass immigration on the country.

In the mind of the percentage of GOP voters with memories, this is a disqualifying past.

Unless he addresses this, he cannot win a general election.

In fact the State Department has been so bad for the past 20 or 30 years that I would almost consider time in that agency to be disqualifying resume for President, regardless of whether your last name is Clinton or Rubio.

The term "new world order" can mean different things depending on whether Vance is saying it, or George Soros is saying it. Context as Vance explains it "there's a new world order in trade, there's a new world order in the way that we invest in our economy, there's a new world order in alliance structures..."

This isn't the Soros/EU/UN Agenda 2030 New World Order.

Vance will have a tough time as well. He has a lot of flip-flops and comments to explain in a General election. Unless he is facing another Kamala, he would have it rough. Rubio has a better reputation for competence now, especially when compared to the current VP and Cabinet.
