We agree on the overreaction. I live in FL and was lucky that DeSantis pushed back.
The Trillions and shutting down the economy was ridiculous. My daughter was in Boston and they were ridiculous.
I know for a fact that there were issues with COVID and the elderly. Once they figured out how to treat it, it got better. The initial treatments were not helpful, such as respirators. The vaccine helped a lot of people not end up in a hospital bed.
People forget that we didn't know what it was at the time and even those that suspected a weapon or escaped virus were preparing for worse. Hindsight is 20/20. Trump was in the same boat and Fauci is all he had, I get it.
Trumps ignorance (Not Faucci) is what made COVID worse. He keeps thinking he can BS his way out of situations he creates. (No he didn't create COVID) but he keeps destroying the safeguards we take for granted.
He did it with COVID. He did the same with the JCPOA, NAFTA, Tariffs, DOGE. Now he's going after voting.
We are being Atlantic Citied by this ignoramus.
This is a good example of over reaction right here. Has Trump messed up some things? Yup. All of this in your list? Nope.
Time will better tell if some of his policies you and I don't like will be considered awful in the history books. He might end up being more right about some things than we want to believe.
He was right about a lot of things the first term that lots of pundits and people here thought were bogus. Lots of people hate his braggadocio, and it does overwhelm some of the good he does.
Trump knew nothing about Iran or Healthcare or Free trade or pandemic preparedness. All he knew is Obama was for it. So he used his pea brain to undo consequential safeguards that we are paying for.
I don't expect a president to be perfect. I do expect that that he be for something not just against the previous guy. It will take us generations and trillions to distance from this Iran war. (Only he can fix it)
We have lost relationships that were vital to our security. It's far more than braggadocio. Calling balls and strikes, we have a president who doesn't give one **** about us. That's hard to say as historically, we disagree with presidents and policies, but if we're honest, we could see them as differences. Trump cares about Trump.
This is a Trump day when it comes to us.
