Could be true
But we have seen so many of these panics happen over the last decade plus…. I would 100% wait for more info before making a judgment
Duke lacrosse "gang rape"
UVA "frat rape" in Rolling stone
Columbia University "mattress girl"
Etc.
ask 20 women before you shoot your mouth off about what's true and what's not true about rape
I have sisters, Aunts, a wife, and a daughter.
I take rape very seriously.
I also take the concept of "innocent until proven guilt" and the justice system seriously.
This situational at Cornell could be rape....that is possible.
The Duke Lacrosse case, UVA fraternity case, and Columbia Mattress incident.... also prove to us not everyone tells the truth about sexual assault. And some people lie and claim to be victims when they are not.
I hope you don't have a problem with giving people their day in Court. Or the concept of the State having to prove accusations with evidence.
I didn't ask if you take rape seriously. Rather, I did to talk to 20 women about what it means to be a woman and the precautions they need to take that you and I, as men, don't worry about
I do agree there is a biological difference between the sexes
Males in general are large and stronger than females.
But if you accept the rather obvious biological differences between the genders….then we might just have to rethink our modern sexual norms and cultural practices.
Maybe young men and young women should not be living in the same mixed gender dorms. Or being over at fraternity or sorority houses after hours. And maybe just maybe we should not be celebrating the idea of consensual orgies
So you ignore biology and hormones….for a world in which every young male perfectly conforms to your new standards
The Cornell case is another data point that shows us your new progressive program is failing miserably at preventing this kinds of problems
