Was it actually addressed to your 11-yo daughter by name? Or did it just say "Student of the [Your Last Name] Family?" Because people who don't even have kids are reporting getting these.

It's designed to get people to foam at the mouth right before they go and vote.

There is no proof of that.

But you have just fallen for the same rage bait type of rumor floating around on the internet.

There isn't concrete proof. But Musk has poured hundreds of millions into this election alone and the ad market is so saturated that they're airing Ken Paxton ads in NC, where I live. So, follow the money: hundreds of millions of dollars, no more space for ads to run... I'm not saying Musk himself directly signed off on this (like he did to aid and abet Russia by shutting off Starlink), but I'd be willing to bet good money that his money is behind this.

And there's no way we find out, because since it isn't "campaign-related," whomever created it didn't have to register it anywhere. The org that was mentioned on the flyer had already denied any involvement in it.

Pretty underhanded that whomever in the Texas GOP came up with this idea doesn't have enough faith that their candidate can win on his own merits. Unsurprising, though.

In other words, you're engaging in wild speculation.

LOL. We got one at our house, and the links appear legit.

Isn't that every LWNJ QAnon conspiracy.
Isn't QAnon a right wing nut job conspiracy group?

No. It's where all the Epstein crazy conspiracies started apparently. And they probably blame THe JEWS for everything.

The story is less about who sent out the mailers but the fact that they seem to be in-line the the general Groomer philosophy. As I said, i would not be surprised if it was not sent out by a Grooming group but also would not be surprised if a Grooming group did it and then is denying it ... reasons for both.

I does not read like rage bait - it provides real links to real resources like the ACLU and other gay groups. I would actually be surprised if the GOP could pull this off - this reads to me genuine just because it is not at all "ragey." Both neither would surprise me.

It's all about who sent the mailers. You can't, on one hand, be all about "protecting kids" then target them with nonsense.

TEXAS PARENTS, HAVE YOU SEEN THESE IN YOUR MAILBOX?

Families across the state are reporting receiving a brochure titled "Texas Trans & LGBTQ+ Student Resource Guide." Some reports say the mailings are even addressed to children.

But here's where this story gets interesting.

The Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), an LGBTQ advocacy organization linked to the materials, says it DID NOT create, approve, or distribute these brochures. The organization believes someone may be impersonating it and others are suggesting this is all part of a political tactic to scare parents.

Questions left unanswered right now:

Who is actually sending these brochures?

Who paid to print and mail them?

How were families and children's mailing addresses obtained?

And let's talk about the timing. These brochures are showing up around the start of EARLY VOTING in Texas, when LGBTQ-related issues are already part of the political conversation.

Is that timing a coincidence? We don't know. And there's currently no verified evidence connecting the mailings to a political campaign.

Have you received one of these at your home? If so, what part of Texas are you in?

I haven't seen one of these, but you have to consider that candidates who are pretty far to the left of the political spectrum suddenly have a very decisive move to the middle when statewide elections are approaching.

This would be out of character, for statewide general elections, to be coming from a Talarico supporting organization.

I just received something in the mail today that is disturbing to me.

The pamphlet is from Texas Transgender Student Union.

It is addressed to my 11 year old daughter.

It explains how to bypass your parents if you are under aged.

It explains the means to get your gender confirming care.

It explains how to go out of state for care.

I am a U.S. Army veteran and have always believed in freedom and "you do you".

As long as you don't try to force your views down my throat, I'm cool.

Do your protests in public spaces and fine, as long as they are unviolent.

I then have a choice to participate or not.

Entering my personal space and targeting an 11 year old girl is not cool and completely unacceptable.

What's next? A flyer from Pornhub?

Sorry this went to your daughter. How would you feel if you learned that your daughter received smut as part of "playing politics"

I would feel the same.

As a rule, I don't care how people get down because it doesn't affect me or my household. It's their business. This mailer crosses that line. It's addressed to children.

In my home, the kid loves to check the mail. And if he gets something addressed to him? It's like hanging the moon. I hope we're not at that place where our positions are willing to take scalps of 8-year-olds.

This is it exactly.

One other possibility. James has taken a pretty serious move to the right on this issue having voted in support of trans rights for minors. Legislative Record

  • 2023: Talarico voted against SB14, which prohibited gender reassignment surgeries and other treatments for minors, and against public funding for them
  • 2025: He also voted against a law protecting parents who refuse to affirm a child's gender identity
  • Past remarks: In 2019, he said it was "abusive" to deny a child's gender identity, and in 20192023 he opposed restrictions on gender affirming care
Now he says he supports a national ban on gender reassignment surgery for minors. When asked about it he said he absolutely supports a ban on minors.

It is possible some of these organizations felt they had an advocate, and with his right turn they feel abandoned by him and are retaliating with these brochures. It is not beyond the realm of possibility.

This is a fun story from an intellectual POV. I can see either option being true.

Why from the right - gets voters fired up just as the election starts with such a bold move on such a divisive, unpopular topic.

Why not from the right
- Must have been a very expensive op to print and mail so many of those: ROI must be pretty low
- Very hard to keep these things secret ... I cannot imagine someone along the line from the creators to the printers to the shippers, etc., would reveal the truth ... lefties do this a lot
- I don't think the Texas GOP is this savvy or sophisticated
- It is written in a perfect tone and all the links are legit: I think an op would have had the link point to a site that basically says "this is what Talerico wants to give to every Texas student"

Why from the left
- only thing that makes sense to me is it was setup as a "double agent" op: get the message out and blame Republicans (the fact the Talking Points came out concurrently make this reasonable)
- a buddy posited this that makes some sense: what if this was designed to go out after the election thinking they're going to win and someone messed up and set it early
- As typed earlier, it is just written as fully legit in tone, word choice visuals - not sure the Right could reproduce this perfectly (uses all the buzz words, coded language, etc.)

Why not from the left - not smart politically

The Left doesn't always think things through clearly. After all, the Dems selected Hillary, Autopen, & Kamala as presidential candidates and repeatedly told everyone how smart and competent they were despite an abundant record of the opposite. These were very stupid choices and there are many other examples.

I can totally believe that some Leftist group might send some stuff out independently of any campaign because they believed the polls and thought it was in the bag or some other misguided reason. I can also believe some of the other theories to explain this but I don't think we have any idea who is actually behind it. Right now we only have speculation.

What "groomer" organization has the money and the organizational strength to get this many mailers out to the Texas populace? It would likely take north of $10-$15M to draft, print, and mail out at this level. Not to mention, how on earth could this possibly help the transgender cause or the Democratic Party considering how close the election is looking to be? It makes absolutely no sense and they have nothing to gain and everything to lose. This reeks of a desperate GOP stirring up the pot to incite rage and get people yo vote for an unpopular candidate.

Well, there's hundreds of millions of dollars flowing into the Texas election, wouldn't be too hard to do.

For those who are crying mail fraud in the election, you may have found a case.

TENT denies any involvement in the mailing
In a statement posted on its website, the organization said the flyer was not authored, approved or distributed by the group.
That raises a key question: If TENT didn't send the mailer, who did?
The return address listed on the flyer, 1611 W. Airport Blvd., Suite 123, Meadows Place, Texas, 77477, does not appear to correspond to a valid address. However, a nearly identical address, 11611 W. Airport Blvd., leads to a mailbox at a UPS Store in the Houston area.

A Wyoming LLC and a questionable Texas return address
The organization listed on the return address, the Texas Transgender Student Union, appears to have no website and no public social media presence.

But business records reviewed by the CBS News Texas I-Team show a company registered under that name in Wyoming.
According to state business filings, the Texas Transgender Student Union LLC was formed Sept. 2, 2026.
The company's listed address leads to an office building in Sheridan, Wyoming, that serves as the address for a registered-agent service used by hundreds of thousands of businesses. Reporting by The Sheridan Press found that the same address is associated with nearly 300,000 of Wyoming's approximately 830,000 limited liability companies.
Those records, however, do not identify who created the company or who may be responsible for the mailers.

The point is that these were addressed towards children.

Mine was addressed to "student of the *** family"

That's wrong no matter who is responsible.

Yours is a normal reaction. Everyone who is normal and sane is outraged that anyone would send this to huge numbers of children. It is perverted filth. We are also outraged by the pervert, crooners, and pedos who want to poison or mutilate children and who try to prevent parents from protecting their children.

Unfortunately, this is a very real issue throughout our society. In blue states, the corrupt politicians are still promoting this evil agenda.
