There isn't concrete proof. But Musk has poured hundreds of millions into this election alone and the ad market is so saturated that they're airing Ken Paxton ads in NC, where I live. So, follow the money: hundreds of millions of dollars, no more space for ads to run... I'm not saying Musk himself directly signed off on this (like he did to aid and abet Russia by shutting off Starlink), but I'd be willing to bet good money that his money is behind this.

And there's no way we find out, because since it isn't "campaign-related," whomever created it didn't have to register it anywhere. The org that was mentioned on the flyer had already denied any involvement in it.

Pretty underhanded that whomever in the Texas GOP came up with this idea doesn't have enough faith that their candidate can win on his own merits. Unsurprising, though.

you think hundreds of millions haven't been spent in Texas from non Texas folks on the senate seat? I don't think any out of state entities should be able to spend money on another state's election.



I hate modern politics, and I hate modern political discourse more than I hate that.

Let the voters of each State make up their own mind....and let the citizens of these States spend against each other if they want.

Out of State money has no place in these races.

The Left wants to blame the Right, although the fliers promote their agenda, and the Right blames the Left, although the backlash arguably helps Paxton and Abbott. Almost any explanation could be plausible. We may never know who did it.

The problem with such thinking is that it is often wrong. People think they know something because they believe it. But sometimes it's only because they've heard it many times or someone they trust said so. Both examples often are mistaken.

Such ideas coming from the media are more likely to be false since they routinely lie and distort. Obvious examples are the trans cult (if they cannot define "woman" they cannot be trusted) and Joe Biden. For 3.5 years they kept insisting that he was "sharp as a tack" with no signs of dementia. They maintained the lie until they no longer could.
