During my time at Baylor I worked directly with Kevin Jackson for several years. I know him to be a thoughtful leader, a caring Christian, and committed to the success of Baylor University and it's students. He is a good man. Let's stop throwing the baby out with the bathwater and jumping to the conclusion that anyone who was there at that time should be immediately ousted with no proof or insinuation they even did anything wrong.
As far as Livingston, it's not always what you say, but how you say it. She probably crafted her wording to be accepted by the academic community and not the average Baylor Alum.
Probably better if she just said nothing at this point.
But, because there have been 5 rapes reported in short order at Baylor, and a Baylor sorority posted an Instagram of themselves jumping around singing the "N" word in a rap song, she probably felt the need to bring it up.
