Trump was NEVER going to stop the spread of this pandemic, Trump was NEVER going to stop people from dying. The high estimates of 2.2 million to 1.7 million deaths are likely too high, but anything less than 200,000 deaths and social spacing has done as much as humanly possible. The medical people know this, I'm sure Trump knows this, and as expected, the rank and file democrats have militarized this virus as something that could be stopped like an advancing army, and it's Trumps fault it's spreading. This is medical bull****, and the top medical folks know this, I can tell the way Cuomo is acting he knows it.bearassnekkid said:Jinx 2 said:
We're the first country to "record" 100,000 cases. And that's a gross underestimate, since it's hard to even be testing.
We now have more cases than China.
Trump should be apologizing to the American people for his awful leadership.
120k, and most experts conservatively estimate that actual cases are 11x the number of positive tests. That means 1.32 million Americans have it (or have had it).
At 2,000 deaths, that puts the mortality rate at 0.1% (identical to the flu). If our covid deaths increase by 20x from here, we'll finally catch up to our normal, seasonal flu fatalities. So why are you freaking out, and blaming the president for something?
So far with our much larger population than other large Western Cultures the US has been fortunate with the death rate, much better than some other large Western societies.
