But your other option is a socialist SJW panderer with who is plainly losing his mental faculties.
Since I live in Texas I can just not vote for either one of them.
Actually your vote in Texas this year probably is going to matter. You can discount the polls all you want, especially if you don't like what they say, but every one shows Biden either neck and neck with Trump give a point or two or in some ahead, and the polls are all we have to judge public sentiment. As I said discount the polls all you want, but in 2016 those polls showed a definite Trump win. This time they do not. Similar polls had Cruz with a comfortable win in 2018, but the result was much closer. Trump is in trouble in Texas, and if he loses Texas, he's toast. Even if he does win TX, he has to win one of MI, PA, and WI. It is inconceivable that he wins one in 2020 that he lost in 2016, that would make up for losses in all three of those states....and this assumes he holds the others he won in 2020, certainly no slam dunk in some states.
Cornyn's approval rating is now less than 40%, probably because when Trump does something really dumb, Cornyn is no where to be found. I don't have much of a problem with Cornyn, other than that. He is a lapdog for Trump. Anyway, all of this to say that the state does appear to be up for grabs and regardless of whether you want Trump or don't want Trump (or Cornyn, for that matter), your vote this year probably does matter. So as you vote third party or sit it out, you are leaving it up to your neighbors to decide the election, so you have no room to complain about the result, if you don't like it.
