As I said in another thread, Trump has thousands of Willie Hortons to run in his campaign ads. Just turn on the evening news.George Truett said:

Coming after our white women!
Who knew?
Thankfully, Trump will protect June Cleaver!
(I say George Wallace. Comparing him to Nixon is an insult to Nixon!)
Housewife is not a derogatory term. You demean them by saying so. But that, Jinxy, is now you seem to roll these days. You sure seem to have a lot of hate for women all of a sudden. What has happened to you?cinque said:
And women in the suburbs scoff at the idea of being called housewives. This ain't 1955.

Gonna be a whole bunch of low-income housing that was previously middle class housing in New York, Chicago, Seattle, Portland , Minneapolis, and others. Property values will collapse in these cities. The max exodus to red states has already started. U-Hauls are in short supply. And Donald Trump really has nothing to do with it.
1956? Is that the best you can do?cinque said:This should send a tingle up your leg and pop the cork on your corrective shoes:RD2WINAGNBEAR86 said:

I'm going to say Nixon, wallace was way less nuanced.
Unfortunately Trump isn't nearly as polished as tricky dick, a man that was a pretty damn good president until he wasn't.

Wherever they can afford. Not where they can't. I mean what is the objective of these stupid policies? Build low income housing in areas with less access to public transportation and greater distances from work opportunities, and most likely where goods and services are more expensive. his only mention of race was the fact minorities fought hard to get out of poverty and deserve to be rewarded by not having low income housing brought into their new area. For you to call others racist is total hypocrisy. In an effort to bolster his campaign less than 100 days before Election Day, President Donald Trump is leaning into off-the-wall race-baiting a tactic that seems out-of-touch in the 21st century. The president once again attacked an Obama-era fair-housing regulation during a press conference on Wednesday, and he made an off-hand remark pointing to the lack of diversity in the American suburbs. His dependency on race-baiting tactics is also evident after his campaign released mugshots of Black inmates in an attempt to smear the Biden campaign recalling a similar tactic used by the Bush campaign in 1988. Turns out, at least 3 of the 9 people living next door were cocaine dealers, and enjoyed breaking into people's cars in their free time. In the 4 years we lived there, we saw the swat team raid the house 3 times, one that ended in a police chase in which the teenage son decided to cut through our yard, trees and fence in his Camaro to get away from the cops.
didnt listen because i know it is a lie. Donald Trump has no issue with minorities in the subs... socio economics is not race related! There are plenty of poor white people!cinque said:
If the truth is too much for some of you fast foward to the 21:23 mark and listen to the nice lady explain how Donald Trump feels about non whites in the suburbs. It seems like the thinking reflects social mores of a hundred years ago. Check it out:

Because the nearest stores aren't miles away in suburbs. There are five grocery stores within minutes from my house in the suburbs. There are food deserts in areas where low income people are concentrated. Even you see why they might prefer to live near me.Gruvin said:racists see race baiting... normal people see things more objectivelycinque said:There's more:Canada2017 said:cinque said:

Low income housing belongs where low income housing make sense. Near mass transit, where stores and schools within walking distance. Why would it make sense to build a low income housing where the nearest store could be miles away and you need a car for everything you do as part of your daily routine?
