I think it is pretty clear Trump deceived you. It is really easy to get the evangelical vote nowadays. Pay lip service to pro-life movement (knowing full well you don't have the power to implement any changes) and mention God a few times at rallies. Maybe even hold up a Bible once.

Trump is an extremely prideful man that cheated on all of his wives (current one with a porn star while she was pregnant) that has likely paid for numerous abortions during his life.
